I groan as the sun shines right into my iris. I really need to start closing the curtains. I roll over to see there is nobody beside me. I scrunch my eyebrows together, where did Matt go?
I get out of bed and go into the bathroom. After I finish my business, I change into some presentable clothes and grab my phone and keys. I walk out th door and start walking out.
After a good 10 minutes a finally reach the only place Matt would be in the mornings. I walk inside and go up to one of the first desks I saw.
"Hi, do you know where Matt Donovan is?" I ask the lady in the dark blue uniform.
"He didn't come in today actually," the brunette says rolling her eyes and getting back to work. Rude, I walk away and walk outside.
If he isn't here then where is he? I try not to think about it too much, because I know where my mind will take me if I think about it too much. He's probably at his house. Yeah, he probably needs a change of clothes. His apartment isn't that far from here.
I start walking and after about 3 minutes I get to his house. I knock on his door for 10 minutes straight thinking maybe he's in the shower and can't hear me. But I know, Matt's showers only last 10 minutes. I slide down this door and sob.
"Don't cry, you'll be united with Matt and Alaric when you wake up," the unknown voice says. I look up to see my fathers face. And his face was the last thing I saw before I was knocked out cold.

"Please, please wake up," Matt says to me. I feel some wet drops on my arms signaling that Matt was crying. I try to open my eyes but they wouldn't open. "I promise, when we get out of here, we can go public. I don't care what anyone says. And I'll buy you whatever you want, just please wake up," he says putting his head on my arm.
Finally after trying to open my eyes, they actually do open. "You know, you can lose your job," I say smirking. His head snaps up startling me for a second and he stares into my eyes. I saw how his eyes were pink from crying so much.
I brought my hands to his face and give him a passionate kiss. My passion was much less than his. He thought I was dead, it must have been terrifying.
We pull apart from the kiss and I stare into his eyes. I wipe the tears away and put my forehead against his. "I'm fine Donovan don't worry," I say closing my eyes.
Before Matt could say anything in return a strong force pulled me away from his grasp. Matt got up in rage trying to get me back but was held down by some other men. I let my tears flow, "Please don't hurt us."
"I would never hurt you."
