I'm writing this on my phone so it probably won't be written properly.

I woke up in a hospital and my mom and dad are staring down at me. Oh shiit.

"oh honey, you're awake!" My mom said and she bent to hug me.

I winced and she let go immediately, "sorry," she muttered.

My dad offered me a small smile and took my hand. Why am I here? The door opened and Caitlyn walked through it. Her face filled with regret she carried over a tray of soup.

"Hey," she whispered, "you're awake."

"It would appear so..."

"Drink this, it should ease the headache."

And that's when I felt the pain. Maybe I should drink the soup.

"Brianna I'm really sorry," Cait started.

"Caitlyn, not now. She just woke up."

Cait nodded and smiled at me as she took my other hand.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"7:42am," my dad said.

"Its not serious is it?" I asked.

I'm not connected to anything.

"No, just a mild concussion honey," mom replied, "drink up."

I drank more soup. Hmm...it's good.

"No I need to see her now!" A voice shouted from outside. I pit down my spoon. Ian !

"Sir, only 3 persons per visit."

"Fuck that!" And he stormed in. Oh, no.

"Good, she's awake," he said relieved.

He said a brief good morning to everyone and walked right up to my death bed.

He kissed my forehead and I was remotely stunned.

"You feel okay?"

"I'd like a hot bath."

He smiled and walked out. We could hear his voice from outside the room door. "Run her a hot bath, now."

"I don't care, she wants a bath!"

Moments later the nurse is scurrying inside and her face is pink. She heads to the bathroom and turns on the faucet. The bath is being filled. My mom smiled and my dad looked pleased. He came back in and made an intention to carry me.

"I can walk," I retorted.

"I don't think so," he said and he carried me inside the bathroom.

"Thank you," I murmured.

He leaned his head against my forehead, "I'm just glad you're okay."
