thirty five.

After arriving at Taylor's, we got out and helped Taylor and destiny inside. destiny wanted to get a shower before anything. so when we got inside, I put plastic over her leg so she could get a shower. they took the cast in her arm off and put a bandage wrap over her wrist cause it helped it I guess. I took the bandage wrap off as well and I took her to the bathroom. "okay, so um here are your undergarments, sweatpants to get over your foot, a bra, a tanktop, a shirt and a hoodie if you need it. when you get your clothes on, holler and I'll come help you." I told her. she thought about it for a second then she said okay. I walked out and went to Taylor's room to see if he needed anything. "Johnson. um can I talk to you?" taylor asked. "yeah what's up?" I asked. "Is she ever going to get better?" he asked with tears filling his eyes. "yeah. she kinda remembers who we are so that's a start. I don't know how long it will be before she gets her real memory back but we'll have to see." I said with my voice cracking. don't cry jack. don't cry. "also, um. I really miss the old her. I don't know if I can pretend that everything's okay." Taylor said out of no where. "Taylor. She'll be okay I promise. she will regain her memory sometime. she thinks and tries to remember. destiny will be alright eventually." I said in tears and my voice cracking. "Jack!" destiny yelled from the bathroom. I went to the door and knocked. "come in." she said. she had her clothes on and was in the wheelchair already. "were you crying?" she frowned at me. "um yeah it's nothing. I'll be okay." I said. she said okay an we went to Taylor's room. where there were pictures of me, Taylor, Gilinsky, & her at the mall. she was so happy. there were pictures of just her and Taylor, just me and her, just pictures of Gilinsky and her & just pictures of her and of all of us. "push me over to the pictures." she said. I did and she looked closely at them and a few tears fell from her eyes. "I um, can you tell me when these were taken taylor? I kinda remember them but not a lot." she said with her voice cracking and tears coming out of her eyes. there were a lot of tears. I grabbed all of them and pushed her to Taylor. i handed him the pictures and walked out. I went to her room and grabbed all the pictures on her wall of her and everyone else. I looked at the one of me and her with a 'tattoo' on our pinkies that said promise. that's when I started screaming and crying. I really wanted her to remember. I wanted her back. I threw something across the room and I hit the walk leaving a hole in the wall. I looked around and I calmed myself down. I took the pictures in there and waited till Taylor was done to give him the others. she carefully looked at the pictures Taylor had and she started crying a little. "is this the day we all first met?" she asked looking at the picture of all of the boys including me and jack and Taylor and her. "yeah, um that's the last show in Indiana we had. you got an ultimate VIP ticked and we met backstage. you were singing along to one of our songs and we brought you out onstage and you sang for us. you sang let it go by James bay. um after that, we asked you where you were from and you said Indiana. so we decided to drive you home and we talked to your parents and they said you could go on tour. that was 4 years ago. you were so excited. we went to the mall and took the other pictures that day. you became famous in a matter of days. i-it was a good day." I said with my voice cracking and letting a tear slip out of my eye. "hey, don't cry. let's go around town and see if I can remember anything." she said all happy. we said okay and we got Taylor a hoodie. then we got in the car and left. she was so amazed at all the lights out. it was getting darker by the minute. "um where's Matthew?" she asked. "uh. he's in California. he left yesterday at the hospital." Taylor said kinda shocked cause we never mentioned Matthew. "okay. um, can we go back home? I-I dont feel good." destiny said. "yeah but there's one more place can you hang in for like 2 or three hours?" I asked. she said yeah. I was going to take her to where we first met, Indianapolis. the boys including Matt and Olivia are going to be there. she fell asleep on the way there which was good kinda. she kept having bad dreams and Taylor kept waking her up. I had to let Gilinsky drive and Taylor get up front so I could sit with destiny. I shook her awake and let her know I was here. she held onto my shirt and didn't let go. she was so scared of losing me. it was scary. then I got a text from Blake.

B: hey we have a situation.
J: what's up?
B: I can't be with destiny anymore. I uh have been cheating.
J: what the fuck?! with who?!
B: some girl named Isable.
J: you are dating or were dating she just got in a fucking car crash!
B: I know. I'm sorry.
J: don't ever talk to her again.
B: alright.

after I told him that, I shook destiny cause we were almost in Indianapolis. "destiny. hey we're almost here." I told her. "okay can I just lay here and stay by you? I feel more safe with you." she asked. "yeah but you have to at least sit up. you can still hold onto me." I told her. she said okay and sat up still holding onto me. I hugged her like it was the last time I was going to see her. finally we got to where we were going. I carried destiny in my arms bridle style and Gilinsky got her wheel chair and got Taylor in his. we went inside and I seen all the guys there. "can you take me to Cameron? I wanna say hi." she asked. I shook my head and took her over there. Cameron held out his arms and destiny let go of my shirt and went into Cameron's arms. she grabbed onto his shirt until she heard a lady cough. "oh I um, sorry. give me back to Johnson please." she told Cameron. Cameron had a blank expression on his face. the girl next to him was all cuddling with him. I took destiny back and i put her in her wheel chair. I took her around where we all first met. the boys were signing a shirt and talking. then Matthew came over. "oh hey Matt." destiny said. "hey, everyone else is done." Matt looked at me and said. I nodded and pushed her over to the shirt and she looked at it. she had tears in her eyes. she grabbed it and looked at me. "take me to the bathroom." she said. I said okay and pushed her over there. I helped her in there and walked out so he could change her shirt. finally she hollered for me. "is my phone with us?" she asked. "yeah it's in my pocket." I said and gave it to her. she went on snapchat. "take a picture with me." she smiled. I helped her stand up and she grabbed onto my shirt. I put my hand around her waist and she pulled me close. she took the picture and examined it closely. she figured out how to save it. "set it as my lock screen." she asked smiling. I took her phone a did as she asked. then we went to the other boys and we had someone take a picture of all of us on each separate phone. destiny looked at it immediately after it was taken and set it as her home screen. when we were done, I took her back to the car. Gilinsky was driving and taylor was in the front and I was in the back with her. she fell asleep like usual holding onto my shirt. then I slowly fell asleep.
