Teacher- So you know Prom is coming up then you guys graduation. Is everyone exited?
Everyone- Yess!!
Teacher- There is no theme dress proper. Boys Suits or torso. Ladies wear your pretty little dresses and do your make up. Look presentable!
Jb-(just a student) Do we gotta dress up Mannn? Muthafucks out hea don't got money like that.
Teacher- Well muthafucks can rent a suit for 25 dollars at the store on Jay street

Kim- Why I gotta go again? *fixes her hair in the mirror*

We walked out and walked to our next class period.

Kim- Hell yea. Only 3 classes and one of dem bitches is lunch. Yes!
Layla- *laughs*
Teddy- Cheeks.
Layla- *turns around* Hm?
Teddy- You luh me?
Layla- Of course. What do you want?
Teddy- I need you to help me with this Spanish test.

Teddy- Tomorrow.
Layla- I'm off tomorrow. So...ill see you tomorrow.

I looked behind him and seen August talking to Nia. I then shot my eyes back to Teddy. I gave him a weak smile then left.

Kim- I'm kinda in the mood for Wendy's after class
Layla- I want Sonic.
Kim- Wendy's it is.
Layla-*sucks her teeth*

I pulled up at the mall and got my phone out texting Miles back. I got out same time Kim opened the door. I locked the door and we walked to the entrance. We went straight to the tuxedo store and sat down and waited for August. Couple minutes later August and Teddy walked in.

Teddy- Sup cheeks.

Teddy- Hey Kim.

I turned around to August who was already looking at me then to the male employee who walked up to us.

Employee- My name is Randell how may I help you?
Layla- He needs to be measured.
Randell- Follow me.
August-*follows him*

5 minutes later

Randell- Any pacific colors?

I looked at August.

Layla- Dark blue shirt black pants.
Randell-*nods and walks away*

He came back and August tried the stuff on.

August- Blue shoes?

August- *fixes his shirt* How I look?

August pulled me in the then closed the curtain.

August- You know why I told ya to come hea?

Layla- Graduation is not till 4 weeks so you wanted to tell me somethin.
August- *takes his shirt off* I'm sorry.

August-*gently pushes her against the wall*
Layla-*puts her hand on his chest stopping him* Don't.

I looked at him in his eyes while he looked at me in mine. I felt him pull me closer to him. I cleared my throat and tried to walk out but he pulled me back.

August- Why you runnin? Us not talkn is killin both of us...slowly and you know it.
Layla- I've never been this mad at you.
August- Shit you ain't Neva been mad at me.
Layla- You've never hurt me emotionally.
August- I never though I would.
Layla- *takes a breath* I'm ready to go.

Miles- I'm glad you did though. I got a question for you La.

Miles- When we gone make this official? We been doin this for a month and a couple days.

I looked at him then kissed him something I been wanting to all night. He kissed me back while I wrapped my arms around his neck. His hands traveled down to my ass giving it a squeeze and wave of nervousness went over me. He went down to my neck biting and sucking on my neck. I wasn't feeling nothing to be honest. Im just not- i don't know. He stopped and threw his shirt off showing me his abs and tattoos.

Layla-*mumbles* Damn.

He slide his hand up my shirt and kissed me roughly.

???-*clears their throat*

We both looked up at August standing there with his hands in his pocket. I got off of Miles lap and handed him his shirt.

Layla- I'll call you later.
Miles- Ight. *walks downstairs and leave*

Layla- what the fuck are you doing here?
August- I came to visit yo ass. Since you wasn't answering none of my calls. I thought I told you to unblock me before you left the mall.
Layla- I was clearly in the middle of something.
August- By you having sex and giving ya virginty away to some random ass(GCO)
Layla- I've known him for a month. I don't feel like having this conversation AGAIN.
August- To some RANDOM ass nigga just because of what I did to you isn't gonna put away your pain.

We both heard the door open and I pushed him off me wiping my tears. I got my stuff out the living room while Alex and Kim came in the living room and went upstairs while August followed me closing and locking the door behind him.
