Part 22

Benny

Maya was squirming around underneath his arms so Benny woke up and looked to see what she was doing.

"Oh! Sorry I woke you up." Maya said and showed him a cheesy grin as a form of apology.

"Yea what are you doing?" Benny chuckled.

"Trying to put my hair up in a ponytail so I wouldn't scare you when you woke up." She said and reached for a hair tie.

"You're so stupid. I don't care how you look." Benny said groggily and mumbled into her shoulder wanting her to lie back down with him causing her to giggle because she was ticklish.

"Stop it. Let me put my hair up." She smiled walking over to her desk tipping her head upside down and tied up her hair.

"That looked pretty hot." Benny chuckled.

"Glad you enjoyed the show perv." Maya said and playfully kicked him.

"Ow! I'm injured! Call 911." He mocked.

"You know it's getting sort of late. Sure you don't wanna check back home?" Maya said straddling his lap while he was still laying in bed and she played with his hair as he grabbed her waist.

"Not if you keep doing this to me. I'm never going home." Benny said and Maya seductively kissed his lips working her hands down his body as he moaned.

"Morning pal. I made your favorite." Maya's dad said opening her bedroom door with a platter of blueberry pancakes.

"Ohhhh I see you made it to breakfast. Usually I hear the window creak and you are gone before the sun rises. What's the occasion?" Her dad said sarcastically.

Benny smiled nervously as his face heated up fast and Maya scrambled off of him, "wait, you knew I have been coming here at night?"

"Heck ya, it's a small house and you haven't exactly been quiet." Her dad said.

"I'm just glad to finally meet you." He laughed.

"Mr. Hart, you know me. It's Benny." He said climbing out of Maya's bed to shake his hand.

"Oh, really? You grew up quite a bit. What are you doing back here? It's been a while." He said losing his lighthearted tone.

"I'm dating your daughter again sir." Benny said still nervous.

"Man, I was hoping for maybe a football player, or a smart kid that wanted to be a doctor or something." Her dad shook his head.

"Dad." Maya warned.

"Don't Dad me pal. You have been giving me nightmares this past week. I honestly want to be raising holy hell. But your mother and I were like that when we were kids. Count your blessings." Her father joked again and left the pancakes in her room.

"Benny, there is a spare key under the mat. Stop reminding me I need to buy new windows." He said and shook his head.

Once the door closed Benny rested his head back in relief.

"That went so much better than expected. Forget everything I have ever said about that guy. He is the best." Benny said stealing a pancake and shoving it into his mouth.

"Yea that was weird of him." Maya said taking a pancake too.

"Can we go back to bed now? I miss cuddling already." Benny said and went back into his sleeping spot.

"Seriously?" Maya looked at him like he was two years old.

"Yea, I could lay here all day." Benny said and stretched out on her bed.

Maya laughed at him and pulled the covers over them and fell back to sleep in Benny's arms.

"Benny it's Monday and you haven't been home once. What is your dad going to say?" Maya said as they were getting ready for school.

"It don't care. I'll go home after school just so you don't worry." Benny said to her. He had a great weekened with Maya and he felt it was much better being her company than anything else. They haven't done it either since they agreed to start a relationship. Benny was secretly anxious to see how it would feel now.

Would it be better than before? He wondered if it would feel like how it felt with Abigail since this is sort of the same situation now. He knew he would be way more nervous since he would show how he cared now and how amazing she was he would have to try harder to make it up to her for being so casual about it before.

"Okay, hurry up we are going to be late." Maya said watching him resting in her bed still.

"'I'm coming!" Benny said walking into my dad's room to find some extra clothes.

"I'll be in my car." Maya said slinging her bag over her shoulder and heading outside.

Benny hurried up and followed her.

"Okay, I guess we are doing this." Benny said buckling his seatbelt as she pulled out of the driveway.

"Yea this is so nervewracking. I haven't spoken to the guys in years." Maya said keeping her eyes on the road. Benny could tell she was really nervous so he rested a hand on her inner thigh as she drove flashing her a cheesy smile as she looked over at him flustered.

After ten more minutes she parked the car and the two of them got out. Maya searched the crowd for Wyatt but Benny squeezed her hand tightly regaining her attention.

"Let's handle my friends first today please?" Benny said biting his lip not taking his eyes off of her. She nodded and they went inside.
