"I remember you. Oh Sexy! Hey girls." Ham said walking past the pool honeys trying to flex his muscles underneath the baby fat.

Ham the cannonballed into the pool splashing everyone around the area. All the boys were in the pool splashing and fighting and trying to make the best of the heat.

Squints was distracted by the lifeguard well known as... Wendy Peffercorn. Squints had eyes, well more like four eyes for the beauty in the red one piece.

"All she does up there is lotion and oil. Lotion and oil. I can't take it man." Squints fumed and Benny gave him a confused look.

"Lotion and oiling. Loitioning and oiling. Lotioning and oiling." He kept brewing.

He crept out of the pool and walked towards the diving board.

"What are you doing Squints!" Benny called out along with the rest of the boys who were all getting alared since he couldn't swim.

"Come back Squints!" Tommy yelled.

"Come back Squints!" Timmy yelled

Squints dove into the water and didn't come up immediately. Wendy took notice and swam in after him to save his life.

Wendy helped Squints out of the water and the rest of the crew followed.

"Come on buddy!"

"Yeah, yeah! Come on! Come on!"

Wendy hovered over Squints and gave him mouth to mouth. Every time she exhaled she checked his puls then tried again.

Everyone was so worried until Squints woke up and flashed a smile at the boys.

They were all confused until Wendy went to exhale in his mouth again and Squints grabbed her and kissed her.

"You little Pervert!" Wendy screamed and grabbed him and kicked him out of the pool forever.

"Our stuff!" DeNunez screamed and theye topped to grab their belongings and jetted to the sandlot.

"Wow man! You planned that!" Betram screamed excitedly.

"He had us all fooled!" Smalls chirped.

"Guys hold on, there is someone else in the lot?" Benny looked over at the girl throwing herself some balls and hitting them deep in the outfield.

He couldn't tell from how far away he was but it looked like she might have had tears in her eyes. Was it because he wasn't there to meet her? No. That's nothing worth crying about.

"Well I gots to put some real clothes on man. Tell this chick to carry on her merry way back to the Barbie doll house she belongs in." Ham said.

"No I can't do that. I will talk to her. You guys can stay here." Benny said and his cheeks started to heat up at the though of talking to her alone. Not to mention he was only wearing his swimming trunks from earlier. They got kicked out so fast he forgot to grab his shirt because he knew he couldn't leave his favorite hat behind.

"Maya! Nice hitting." Benny complimented her skills. She turned around and she saw him and she looked very upset so she went to the shaded area and sat down. She didn't invite him but he joined her anyway.

The boys looked over and started giggling and teasing Benny from afar.

"I should go." She said twirling a baseball in her scraped hands.

"Why? I just got here. We can play a game no that we are cooled off from the pool." Benny said inching closer to her.

"I don't play baseball sorry." She shook her head and another tear fell.

"I just saw you hit the fence! Looks like you've been playing all your life." Benny continued. He couldn't understand why she was acting like this.

"No I didn't mean to hit today. I just got bored waiting for you. It doesn't count. It doesn't count. Sorry sorry sorry I didn't mean to play again." She said flustered and Benny grabbed her wrist to try to calm her.

"You talk like a crazy person. It's just a game. It's fun come on and play."

Maya shut her eyes and took a breath. When she opened them her eyes had a slight twinkle in them and a relieved smile crept on Benny's lips.

"Okay." she breathed.

"Okay." Benny smiled even wider.
