~~Holly's POV~~
I headed back to my new apartment that I recently got that helped me escape my past. I had also sent in several job applications, with no responses yet. I slump on my couch and sigh, I knew no one here. It was for the best I knew but it felt weird not knowing anyone. I'm thinking about what I left behind when my phone rings and I pick it up hesitantly.
"Hello?" I ask and a man is on the other saying that they would like me to work for them. It was the Assistant district attorney of Central City which also was connected to the CCPD (Central City Police Department). I hung up and was excited. I was allowed to come in today. I quickly grabbed my purse made sure I looked good and headed to the the office. I walked in and a woman smiled.
"You must be the new girl," she said, she had long blonde hair, blue eyes, and a comforting smile and I nodded my head.
"Yes, I'm Holly Grant," I say picking at my purse strap, a nervous habit I had along with biting my lip.
"Well I'm Felicity Smoak, I'm actually not a attorney, I'm a I.T. Worker, not that attorneys are bad or anything it just I'm not even from Central City," she said quickly I smiled a little confused.
"I'm working on a.. Project with a friend so I'll give you to someone who actually works here," she says. I smile and thank her. I'm standing around aimlessly for a few minutes then I see Felicity back with another woman who has beautiful dark hair that matches her skin and brown eyes. Felicity then left and I introduce myself again.
"Oh right, Holly.. My dad, Joe, a police detective mentioned a new attorney, I'm Iris West," she says and I shake her hand.
"You probably want to know your way around this place so I'll walk you around, I already talked with Mr. Singh who is your boss along with the police," Iris said with a smile and the tour started I kept quiet not wanting people to know much about me, working next to the police was risky enough.
The tour was somewhat long and then we headed upstairs.
"Now to visit the forensic scientist office," Iris said with a smile.
I followed her up the stairs and then entered a office.
"Barry this is the new attorney, Holly," Iris says and I see a man standing there and turn and I almost feel my mouth drop open.
"Holly, this is-" Iris starts but I stop her.
"Barry Allen?"
I couldn't believe it.
