~~~Barry's POV~~~
I had a busy night tonight. Everyone seemed to be on a criminal mood. I was working with Eddie and Joe. I just got a guy at the park and was now sitting in the back of their cop car, that was speeding down the road, sirens blaring.
"Barry," Joe said in acknowledgement. "We got another one."
"Got it."
"Who's this?" Eddie asked, seeing the new man in the back with me.
"Oh. Indecent exposure. Powell Park," I explained.
"That ain't something you should be showing people," Joe scolded.
Eddie's voice brought a new situation to hand. "They're getting away, guys."
"They're not getting away, Eddie. Let's get these bozos up ahead of us first, and then we'll worry about the idiots at the Shiny Diamond," Joe ordered.
"All right. We're gonna run out of room, though."
"I'll take care of that," I said quickly, grabbing Joe and Eddie, switching their places. I then grabbed Joe, running to the car in front of us and grabbing the passenger and placing Joe down, the new guy taking where Eddie had been previously.
We then headed to Shiny Diamond, Joe and Eddie, heading in first. I then ran past, grabbing the robbers guns.
"You guys missing these?" I said, dropping them on the floor, grinning.
"On the ground. On the ground," Joe and Eddie ordered.
"So, uh, I'm just curious, but have you guys not heard of me, or what?" I bragged, high-fiving Joe. "Nice work, detective."
~~~Holly's POV~~~
I was sitting on my couch, flipping through channels in the late night. I cuddled in a huge knitted blanket and suddenly my hair was in my face.
"Barry, I swear I'm gonna put a bell on you or something," I stated, sitting up, turning to see Barry holding a bag of Mexican food. "Okay... you're off the hook this time." I smiled, patting the seat next to me. Barry swiftly walked around the couch and sat next to me, opening the bag.
"I love you," I stated, taking a bite of my taco.
"Are you saying that to the taco or me?" Barry asked.
I smirked. "Wouldn't you like to know?"
Barry shook his head, laughing and kissing me.
It was nice to have this time with Barry. He seemed so focused on Wells that we didn't seem to be enjoying life itself. All of us have nearly died several times and yet I felt we still took life for granted.
"Busy night tonight?" I asked.
"Caught three robberies and a guy with indecent exposure," Barry explained, taking a bite of his quesadilla.
"On a role!"
"What about you? What are you doing up so late anyways?" Barry asked, studying me.
"Oh a girl can't have a late night at the club?" I joked.
"Not when I'm not around," Barry stated.
"Is someone jealous?" I asked, placing my hand on my chest.
"No, but I want all those guys to know you're mine... and no one else's."
His green eyes hovered over my face. I saw possessiveness in them, strong and clear, his face serious.
I tried laughing it off but no laugh came.
I stared at him before speaking. "I-"
"I want you to stay away from S.T.A.R. Labs."
