AN: Hello everyone! Thank you for all your reads, I much appreciate them! I've decided to change up the writing style just a little bit by combining Holly and Barry's POVs because I feel it's slightly repetitive the last few chapters and I think this will help things run more smoothly! And if you enjoyed it make sure to give it a vote and comment! Thanks!

~~Holly's POV~~

I woke up on the couch and groaned. I rubbed my eyes and looked at the clock. Shoot! I was late! I roll and trip off the couch and run upstairs and brush my teeth and hair at the same time. I run to my bedroom and changed into some jeans and a tshirt and a cardigan. I then run back to the bathroom spray some perfume on and then I run down grab my purse and slip my pumps on and run out.

I arrive at work late and I sigh. I didn't get talked to thank goodness.

I'm working on some cases when I go up to Barry's office since it was so loud downstairs, making it impossible to concentrate. Barry is there working on some stuff I sit down and start reading the files.

"I thought it was my job to be late," Barry says coming to me leaning on the wall next to me and I lean back in the chair and cross my arms.

"Shut up Barr, it's technically your fault I'm late," I say.

"Really? How?" He asked with a smile.

"You kept me up past my bedtime," I say smiling and Barry laughs. I laugh too and then Iris enters.

"Here is your coffee and your bakers dozen of doughnuts," Iris says handing Barry a cup and then the box to a smiling Barry. I shake my head. I then sharpen my pencil and when I come back Barry had opened the doughnuts. I sit next to him and grab one and start eating it. Iris is giving me a weird look so I look back at her.

"What? Did some of the cream spill all over my face or something?" I ask and Iris quickly shakes her head.

"No, nothing, sorry just thinking," Iris says.

"About the Streak?" I ask and Iris looks at Barry who shrugs and smiles.

"You told her?" Iris asks.

"Hey, I tell her everything," Barry says and I can't help but feel my stomach do a little flip flop and a blush rise to my cheeks. I quickly look down to my work and start reading again.

Iris eventually leaves and I continue working with Barry. We continue working and a few times I had a few sips of his coffee. Gross, I know, but geez I don't have cooties and neither does Barry.

At one point I decided to take a break and watch Barry work. He seemed concentrated and determined. I must've been staring awhile cause he started noticing.

"Take a picture it might last longer," he says and I scoff.

"I was just..." I was at a lost for words. Why was I staring at Barry again?

"You were just what?" He asks turning to face me and I shrug my shoulders.

"Never mind," I say taking another doughnut.

"Would you like to help me?" He asks raising his eyebrows, smirking and I sigh on the inside, glad I could use that as a excuse.

"Yeah," I say with a sigh and stand up, walking over to him as he explains each thing. A few times we'd giggle about something and I never noticed how attractive Barry was when he laughed and smiled. Why was I having these feelings?! We were just friends. Best friends. I couldn't ruin that.

Eventually it was the end of the day and Iris was back.

"Hey you two still too busy to head to the movies and dinner ? I got three tickets, Eddie couldn't make it so I thought Holly would like to come," Iris says.
