**I just love that gif of Barry, he looks so sassy like 'really bro?'. Just me? Yes? No? Let me know in the comments! And what you think so far! Tootles! :p **

~~Barry's POV~~

Walking to lunch with Holly was good, we caught up, I could tell she was hiding something from me, but I also was hiding something from her.

"So you and Iris.. You two finally got together, glad my advice worked," Holly says with a smile and I knew this had been coming.

"Iris and I are not together, she has a boyfriend," I say and I notice her frown.

"Ouch, that must be difficult."

"Actually.... After I woke up from a nine month coma from being struck by lightning I um... Had some time to think about my feelings for her and I don't have feelings for her that way anymore," I say and she stops me. And looks surprised.

"Wait. What? You got struck by lightning?!" She asks and I nod my head, "are you ok? Is your heart still beating?" Holly asks and places a hand on my chest which sends little electricity jolts through me. I feel the heat start to rise to my cheeks, I know she means it in a concerned platonic way.

"Yeah.. Um I'm fine now," I answer and she looks me up and down with crossed arms.

"You're sure?" She asks again and I nod my head and she sighs.

We are walking to coffee when I see Iris kissing Eddie, I'm surprised and angry. Not that I still had feelings for her like that but I was angry she didn't trust me enough to tell me she was dating Eddie. Right under my nose. I start walking off and Holly follows. I hear Iris yelling for us to wait up but I don't listen until she grabs my arm.

"You can't tell my dad. He doesn't know about me and Eddie," she says quickly and I raise my eyebrows shake my head.

"Doesn't seem like anyone's in on the secret." I say walking away and Holly and Iris follow me into the tunnel.

"I was gonna tell you. When you were in the hospital, Eddie covered my father's shifts so that we could both be with you.I thanked him with a cup of coffee, and things just kind of happened. And it's good," she says with a smile and I shrug.

"Dating your partner's daughter, it's not against department regulations?" I ask and I can tell Holly is uncomfortable.

"Why are you so upset?" She asks and I almost answer telling her she could've trusted me but I look away and sigh. There's so much I'm keeping inside from my friends I feel like I'm two different people.

"I just don't like having to lie to your dad, you know?" I lie again and Iris crosses her arms. I then hear a car and police and there coming at us. I grab Iris and Holly and yank them down to the side. I then see the mustang drive by and I run after it. I catch up and open the passenger door and see Clyde Mardon, we both look at each other and then I see him start to pull out a gun. I quickly grab the wheel and yank it to the right and it flips the car. I groan sliding out the window and I see Clyde standing there. I stand there a second as I see Clyde bring fog around us. I can't see anything and then I hear a car honking. I run out of the way after I see the car slam into the mustang and flip. I'm breathing hard and I'm furious I lost Clyde but right now that isn't important I need to make sure Holly and Iris are safe.

I walk up to them so I'm not suspicious.

"Where in the world did you go?!" Holly asks quietly and wipes some blood from my forehead and I clear my throat and back up. Why was I so nervous around her? Sure she was the same Holly I met in college but I never noticed how beautiful she was before.
