~~~Barry's POV~~~
Everyone has a hero, someone they look up to or admire, someone they just wish they could be. It's easy to believe in heroes. What's hard is when our heroes stop believing in us.
"Oh, Barry, there's an intersection coming up," Cisco said in my earpiece as I chased three people, The Queen, The King, and The Jack, from a gang.
"Hurry!" Caitlin said.
"This should slow 'em down," Cisco said causing a green light. They drove forward anyways, separating.
"Guys, which way?" I asked.
"Left. Right," they both said at the same time. "Right. Left."
"Stop! You both hear you're telling me two different things, right?"
"Barry, listen up," Wells said, "Listen carefully. Here is what you're going to do. Now, the Queen is trying to make it to the bridge, but I have a shortcut wait for it... And left, left, right"
"I see her!"
"Make her go west before Fremont."
"Okay, how?"
"I'd recommend a detour."
I quickly set up construction, blocking her way.
"Now, the King is headed for the entrance to the interstate."
I quickly made a car block the entrance before the King could make it.
"What entrance?"
"Atta boy. Check-"
I saw them all end up in the same place and I ran and swiped their keys.
"Got the keys."
"Mate."
I then ran back to the lab. I walked in happily and Cisco stood up.
"Give me some!" he said high-fiving me. "Yeah!"
"Efficiently done, Mr. Allen," Wells said.
"We need a picture," Cisco said and me and Caitlin looked at him.
"Pretty sure rule number one of having a secret identity is not taking pictures of yourself in your super suit without a mask on," I said.
"Oh, come on, please! This is just for us. This is to document all this."
"Who knows? Maybe people in the future will want to know how all this happened," Wells said.
"All right, well, if you want the future to have the whole story, then, we all need to be in it," I said with a smile.
"First, let me put on some makeup?" Caitlin asked.
"The future does not care about your makeup," Cisco said.
They got posed and I pulled out my phone.
"Okay. Big smiles. Three two one," I said snapping the photo and quickly stepping in the photo as it took and then catching the phone before it fell.
" Ha!" I said, seeing the photo had turned out.
"Does that count as a selfie?" Caitlin asked.
" Absolutely."
"Sick. Came out good," Cisco said as him and Caitlin left.
"Thanks for talking me through things out there," I said turning to Wells.
"My pleasure. Well done. I have to say it was a bit of a rush feeling like a-"
" A hero."
"Yeah."
