Chapter 5

Alex's POV =)
"LET'S GO TO THE BEACH BEACH!" Adriana and I screamed getting ready to go to the beach.

"Yes let's go to the beach, I haven't been in a while" I said and we both burst into a fit of giggles.

"Or maybe you just wanna see Luke shirtless" Adi said wiggling her eyebrows and I blushed.

"Oh shutup, you wanna see Michael shirtless". Adriana stopped after that, winning.

"I'll be back, I need to go and get dressed" I said getting my clothes and heading into my bathroom.

I didn't bother with a shower so I fish tailed my hair so it didn't look to greasy.

I put on my pink bikini with white polka dots with little frills on the top. Over that I put on a black singlet which said 'Fresh' in white, denim ripped high waisted shorts and black thongs(flip flops).

"You look fab Ally" Adi said and I laughed.

"Thanks Mrs Clifford" I said with a wink and she tried to punch me but she missed.

"Anyways, who's taking Luke?" Adriana asked as I grabbed my sunglasses.

"I dunno, I think he stayed over at Calum's last night" I said as we walked down stairs.

"Really, didn't you guys go to the pier?" Adi asked.

"Yeah, how did you know that?" I asked locking the door.

"Luke posted a picture of you guys on Instagram last night" Adi said as we got in my car. I smiled and drove off.

"So when are you and Michael gonna get together?".

"Well about that.." Adi began but I cut her off.

"ADRIANA HOW LONG?" I asked.

"Only since like Monday" Adi said blushing and I smiled.

"Dude that's like 5 days". We both laughed at my stupid comment.

"Yeah I know".

"Guess I'm the only single one now" I said pouting.

"You and Luke are both single" Adi pointed out with a wink and I rolled my eyes.

"You and I both know its never going to happen" I said as we got closer to the beach.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that" Adi said as we arrived. I ignored that comment.

"HI GUYS!" Maria yelled running over to us.

"HELLO!" I yelled back and she pulled me into a hug.

"How are you?" Maria asked letting go.

"I'm good, how are you?".

"I'm great" Maria said grinning which made me smile. Maria's smile is infectious. When she smiles, you can't help but smile too.

"Did you come with Calum?" I asked and she nodded.

"If you are wondering Luke's here already" Maria said and I blushed. I walked down to the beach and went and found the others.

"Look it's my favourite blonde person" Calum said giving me a hug.

"It's my favorite kiwi" I said smiling and he laughed.

"Hey Ally" Bec, Michael and Ashton said in unison.

"Hellloooo" I said with a smile. I sat down on the sand next to Luke.

"Hey Ally" he said pulling me into a side hug.

"Hey Luke" I said with a grin. His hair wasn't styled, it was flat and messy. He had a few pimples here and there but I don't count them as flaws. They are part of who he is.

"ALEX!" Adriana yelled.

"WHAT?" I yelled back startled.

"We are going swimming now".

"Oh yay!" I said grinning and everyone laughed.

"It's like a fucking strip club over here right now" Michael said which made us all start laughing even more.

"It's getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes" I sang and we laughed even more.

I took my top off and my shorts, feeling really insecure. I hate showing my body, I don't even know why though.

As we walked down to the water I could feel people's eyes on me and I hate it. I don't understand why guys feel the need to stare sometimes.

"People are starting at you" Luke whispered in my ear.

"I know".

"Are you ok?".

"Yeah I guess" I said. I was so caught up in my own thoughts that I didn't realize that Luke was shirtless. Holy shit, when did he get abs?!

"Alex, do you wanna piggy back?" Luke asked and I nodded grinning. He bent down so I could jump up on his back.

"I hope I'm not crushing you" I said awkwardly.

"Alex you are as light as a feather" Luke said and I blushed. We ran to the water and her carefully placed me down on the soft sand.

"Is it cold?" I asked Bec who was in the water.

"Did you just ask that?" Bec asked. I was always the one to get in the water, no matter what the temperature was.

"I shit you not, I just did" I said laughing. Bec laughed and rolled her blue eyes at me.

I ended up running in the water, it being nice and warm.

I saw Luke talking with Michael and Maria about something. It looked pretty serious, so I decided to go and splash them.

"Yeah but what happens if she rejects me?" Luke asked. My heart sunk after that, Luke likes a girl. Who isn't me.

"I'm pretty sure she won't reject you, she likes you a lot" Maria said with a genuine smile. I know that I shouldn't be listening but I can't help myself.

"Yeah right, I'm way out of her legue" Luke scoffed and I rolled my eyes. How can anyone be out of his legue.

I couldn't listen anymore so I left the water and went back to the sand, lying down on my towel trying to ignore what I had just heard.

Luke's POV =)

"Where's Alex?" I asked Bec who was on Ashton's back.

"I think she is lying down on her towel, she left the water a good 10 minutes ago" Bec said looking worried.

"Is she ok?" I asked concerned.

"I'm sure she is fine, she is probably trying to get a tan" Bec said rolling her eyes and Ash and I laughed.

"She doesn't even need a tan" I pointed out.

"Tell her that" Bec said and I left the water.

"Are you ok?" I asked Alex who was lying down on the sand.

"What?" she asked sitting up. I shouldn't have stared at her. She is so fucking insecure and I have no idea why. She has a good body. Wow I'm gonna stop now.

"Are you ok?" I asked sitting down next to her.

"Oh yeah I'm fine Luke" Alex said with a slight smile.

"You sure?".

"Lucas Hemmings I'm fine" she said with a grin. She knows that I hate being called Lucas.

"Ally, I will kill you if you call me Lucas".

"It's your name, may as well call you it" Alex said with a cheeky grin and I laughed.

"Then I may as well call you Alexandra" I said with a slight grin.

"Ew no, at least your name is normal".

"Yeah totally Lucas Robert Hemmings" I said rolling my eyes.

"Not as bad as mine, Alexandra Madeline Payton" Alex said and I rolled my eyes. I pulled Alex into my side and she rested her head on my shoulder.

"I like you're name" I said and she blushed.

"Thanks Lucas" she said cheekily and ran off to the beach. I got up and chased after her. But Alex being fitter then me due to her netball, dancing and rowing got away from me.

"Fuck you Alex" I said and she just poked her tounge out at me and walked over to Maria.

Towards the end of the day some fans found us but left us alone, which I found do be nice but they looked pretty upset that they couldn't talk to us.

In the end we went and got photos of them. I asked them to take a group photo of us on Alex's phone and they gladly did.

"Instagraming this" Alex said and we all laughed.

She uploaded the photo straight away with the caption;

She tagged us all in it and added some random emojis.

"What is the point of the ghost emoji?" Ashton asked and Alex grinned.

"I find it cute" Alex said still grinning. Ashton laughed and rolled his eyes.

"So when does your Mum come back?" Bec asked Ally and on cue Alex's phone started to ring.

Some song that I had never heard started playing and she quickly answered it, her cheeks going bright red.

Bec, Maria and Adi were all laughing while the boys and I were clueless about everything.

"Why are you laughing, what's going on?" Michael asked.

"Ally's ringtone is Jai Waetford, the 14 year old from X-factor!" Adi managed to get out and we all started laughing.

"Nice ringtone mate" Bec said and Alex went bright red.

"FUCK OFF AT LEAST HE CAN SING!" Alex yelled trying not to laugh by failing.

"Aw Alex" I said pulling her into a side hug.

"Well at least it's not What Does The Fox Say" Maria said and I looked down at Alex and we started laughing.

"Oh my god it's your text tone isn't it" Adi said and Alex nodded.

"You are so weird" Calum said but he had a grin on his face.

I looked at Alex who had a smile on her face. She has small scars on her face where there used to be pimples. Her eyelashes long and thick making her green eyes shin even more. Her prominent cheek bones which suited her well.

"And oh yeah Luke" Alex said before I got in her car to go home.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"We are going out for dinner tomorrow night, dress nice".

"Why couldn't you have told me that later?" I asked confused.

"Because knowing me, I would forget" Alex said with a cute grin on her face.

She has no idea how much I want her and is tearing me apart.
