Alex's POV =)
I have literally spent my whole day on tumblr, doing nothing productive.
"So what gave you been up to?" Luke asked me standing in my door frame making me jump.
"Who let you in?" I asked knowing that Will was at work and Mum still being away on her work thing.
"Oh the door was unlocked". I laughed and rolled my eyes. Luke was wearing his white Blink 182 t-shirt, dark denim jeans and black Vans.
I don't know why I always take in what people wear but I think it has something to do with the fact that I want to go into the fashion business.
"I think I'm going to murder Will" I said and Luke laughed.
"Anyway we are going out".
"Going out where?" I asked shutting off my laptop.
"To the fair!" Luke said with a smile.
"Luke it's like 5 in the afternoon".
"Alex, I think you need to go outside you have been on tumblr all day".
"How do you know that?" I asked going to pick something out to wear.
"One you are still in your pjs and two your hair is messy" Luke said with a smirk.
"Ok fine I'll come with you, just let me get ready quickly" I said shutting the door.
I put on black leather shorts, a white t-shirt with a faded flower picture on it, my full black Vans, a gold bracelet and I took my contacts out and put my glasses on.
I quickly brushed my hair and left it down and put on a little bit of make-up.
"Ready to go?" Luke asked through my door. I grabbed my phone and purse and then opened the door.
"Yes I'm ready, now lets go" I said with a smile.
"And oh by the way, nice shoes" Luke added and I laughed. I always wanted a pair of full black Vans, Luke always used to wear his around me just to annoy me.
"I know, I finally bought some for myself" I said with a grin as I locked the door.
"We can be twins" Luke said with a wink and I laughed, getting in my car.
"Excuse me but I already have a twin if you haven't noticed" I said and Luke started laughing.
"I think I might have noticed". I grinned and turned the radio on.
"TALK DIRTY TO ME!" I screamed out and Luke laughed.
"I think you might want to leave the singing for me" Luke said smirking and I laughed.
"Will do Hemmings".
We stayed silent for a bit. Not an awkward silence but a comfortable silence.
"So Ally, what was Adelaide like?" Luke asked.
"It was nice, school was good and the people are amazing" I said with a smile.
I boarded in Adelaide for 5 years, not quite sure why really. My parents were from Adelaide and I went to the same school my Mum used to go to.
"Did you do any sports?".
"Oh my god Luke, you know that I used to play netball and row" I said laughing. That boy honestly!
"Oh yeah, I forgot" Luke said with a cute grin.
"So Luke, what was London like?" I asked.
"London is beautiful, cold but beautiful".
"Did it snow?" I asked.
"Yeah sometimes but it wasn't nice snow, it was icy and thin". I nodded and we continued talking, then we arrived at the fair.
"I haven't been to the fair in ages!" I exclaimed as we walked closer.
"Yeah same" Luke added, running his fingers through his blonde hair.
"Two tickets please" I said to the guy and I handed over the $20 dollars.
"I was gonna pay you know".
"I don't care".
"I know you don't" Luke said with a grin.
"So what do you want to do first?" Luke asked looking at me. When Luke looks at you, he really looks at you. His blue eyes stay focussed on you like you were the most important thing in his world. But I will never be the most important thing in his world, ever.
"I really don't mind".
"Do you wanna go in the photo booth?" I suggested casually.
"Yeah sure why not" Luke said and he took my hand and led me towards the photo booth.
"Normal or polaroid?" I asked.
"Polaroid because I'm paying this time" Luke said firmly.
"You really don't have to pay.. " I began but Luke cut me off.
"Yes I do, please hush" Luke said handing over the money and I giggled.
"Oh Jesus what are we going to do?" I asked as we got inside the booth.
"Everything, we get 10 photos each" Luke said with a smile. I smiled back and we sat down and the camera took its first picture.
Most of them were silly but there were some nice ones in there. Somewhere.
"My favourite one is the one where you are smiling like crazy" I said. I've always loved Luke's smile but he doesn't have to know that.
"Mine is where you are kissing my cheek" Luke said going through the photos and I went bright red.
"Can we go get some ice-cream?" I asked quickly changing the subject.
"Yeah sure why not" Luke said and we started walking over towards the nearest ice-cream store.
"Oh my god what flavour do I get?" I asked freaking out.
"I know what you'll get, cookies and cream like always" Luke said and I smiled.
"How do you even remember what flavour ice-cream I get?" I asked surprised.
"When you spend enough time with one person you grow to remember all the little things about them" Luke said which made me smile.
Luke paid for the ice-creams and handed me one.
"Thanks Luke" I said sitting down.
"Anytime" Luke said sitting down next to me.
Luke's POV =)
My brain has been rushing with thoughts about Alex, all god damn day. I want to spend us much time with her possible but every time I see her, I fall for her that little bit more.
"So Luke, what do you want to do next?" Alex asked smiling.
"Any rides you wanna go on?" I asked.
"Maybe later, we just had ice-cream". I nodded and we went over to the arcade games.
"I want to win that giant penguin oh my god" I said taking her hand and waking quickly over towards the clowns.
"Of course you do Luke" Alex said with a slight grin.
"I'm tank at this game, so you know I'm going to win the penguin" I said and Alex started laughing. Man I love her laugh.
"I really don't think you need anymore penguin things" Alex said seriously.
"I really think I do".
"Why don't you just buy the penguin?". I ignored that comment and paid for the game and started to play.
"Oh shit I'm terrible at this game" I said and Alex laughed.
"Oh Luke, I'll have a go" Alex said paying for her turn and starting.
"Why are you so good at this?" I asked.
"Because Lucas, unlike you I take my time" Alex said and I rolled my eyes.
"What prize would you like?" the guy asked. Alex has gotten the highest possible score, typical.
"Um can I please have the penguin?" she asked and he nodded, handing her the giant stuffed penguin.
"Here you go" Alex said handing me then penguin.
"Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?" I asked.
"What do you mean?".
"Like always in movies the guy gives the girl the prize, not the girl gives the guy a prize".
"Well maybe I like to mix things up a bit" Alex said with a wink and I laughed.
"Only you".
