Chapter 13

Alex's POV =) 

"Baby wake up" a voice whispered in my ear.

"No it's too early" I whined. 

"But it's you're birthday!".

"AM I 17 TODAY?" I yelled sitting up and I saw Luke sitting on the other side of my bed. 

"Happy Birthday Ally" he said kissing me and I smiled. He handed me a present and I thanked him. 

"What is it?" I asked and Luke laughed. 

"You might find out you know, if you open it!" he said sarcastically and I ripped the wrapping paper off. There were some clothes in there and a huge book. 

"What's in the book?" I asked and Luke smiled. 

"Read through it". I opened the book and the first page had a letter. 

Dear Ally, 
Happy Birthday gorgeous! Finally 17, my age now! I hope you have the best day ever because you deserve it. I'm not going to keep wishing you happy birthday in this letter because that really isn't the point of it. I know we have only been dating for a week but we have been best friends since forever and I guess that counts for something. You are so amazing, just the way you light up a room by being in it is one of my favourite things about you. Your hair, the way it falls down your back. Your eyes are so beautiful. Your smile makes me want to die. You are just perfect to me and you make me happy, which is all that matters.

"Oh my god Luke, that's so cute!" I exclaimed tackling him into a hug. 

"I'm glad you like it" he said kissing my cheek. 

"Anyways, I need to say happy birthday to Will" I said getting out of bed and running down the hall. I opened Will's door and he was still sleeping. 

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILL!" I yelled and he groaned. 

"Fuck off Alexandra" he said throwing a pillow at me and I giggled running out of the room. I went back to my room to find Luke laying on my bed. 

"So what are we doing today?" I asked. 

"Well not much really, everyone is coming over tonight plus some of Will's friends and I have you to myself today" Luke said smiling.

"Well who said I wanted you?" I asked and Luke pouted. 

"Fine then, be that way". 

"I'm kidding Luke, I want to spend the day with you" I said lying down next to him on my bed and pulling the quilt over us. 

"Oh good, because I would cry if you didn't want to" he said and I giggled. Luke pulled me closer to him and I inhaled his scent. Mint and chocolate. I don't even know why he smells like that. 

"You smell like chocolate" I said giggling and Luke rolled his eyes. 

"You smell like vanilla" he said kissing my collarbone. 

"So, what are we doing today?" I asked and then his phone went off.

"Oh yeah, watch this" he said handing me his phone. He had a video up and u pressed play and One Direction appeared on the screen.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLY!" they all said in unison and I screamed. 

"We hope you have an amazing day babe!" Louis said and I screamed even more. 

"We hope to meet you soon!" Harry said and I squeaked. 

"Love you, bye!" they all said and I screamed. 

"OH MY GOD LUKE!" I said screaming and he was smiling. 

"Did I do ok?" Luke asked with a nervous smile and I screamed again. 

"LUKE YOU HAVE EXCEEDED EVERYTHING ANYONE HAS EVER DONE FOR ME!" I said tackling him into a hug and he laughed. 

"I'm glad you liked it". 

"Shit Luke like is an understatement, I loved it" I said kissing his cheek and he smiled again. After I had calmed down, we lay side by side out legs tangled together. 

"Hey Alex?" Luke asked. 

"Yes Luke?". 

"Can we go and get something to eat?" he asked and I nodded, getting out of my bed. I quickly chucked a baggy top over Luke's singlet which revealed a bit too much and who knows who could be down there. 

"Let's go to the kitchen" I said jumping on his back and Luke carefully carried me down the stairs.

When we got down there I could smell bacon and eggs. 

"Happy Birthday Ally!" Mum said and I smiled giving her a hug. 

"Thanks Mum" I said sitting down. 

"Where's Will?". 

"Still asleep I think, he yelled at me to get out before" I said and Luke laughed. 

"Oh well, here is your present" she said handing me a box. 

"Thanks Mum" I said and I opened it. Two tickets to All Time Low next year in Sydney. 

A massive grin appeared on my face and I looked up at my Mum. 

"Do you like it?" she asked and I nodded squealing. 

"Oh my god thankyou so much!" I screamed giving her a hug and she smiled. 

"Best present?" she asked and I shook my head. 

"No sorry, Luke got One Direction to say Happy Birthday to me". 

"Sorry Marie" Luke said with a little grin and my Mum laughed. 

"It's ok, second best then?" she asked and I nodded. 5 minutes later breakfast was cooked Luke and I were eating. 

Will came down 10 minutes after we started eating and gave me my present. The One Direction perfume. I thanked him and handed him his present. A new pair of Converse since his were destroyed.

"Ok I'm off for two days!" Mum said and I gave her a look.

"Were are you going now?" Will asked. 

"Perth" she said with a sad smile and Will, Luke and I said goodbye and then she was gone. 

"Well that was unexpected" I said putting everyone's plates in the dishwasher. Luke gave me a smile and then we went back upstairs. 

"What's the time?" Luke asked me and I unlocked my phone. 

"Um 1.30, why?" I asked lying back down on my bed. 

"Because I'm taking you out at 3.30 for a bit" Luke said. 

"Ooo, where are we going?" I asked. Luke smiled and shook his head. 

"Outside, someplace that isn't here" he said and I laughed. 

"Oh ok" I said and he kissed my cheek. He pulled his phone out and started talking selfies with me. 

"Please take a nice one?" Luke asked pouting and I giggled. 

"I'm not a very photogenic person Hemmings, you should know that" I said and Luke rolled his eyes. 

"You are very photogenic, you just don't show it" he said and I laughed. 

"No, Will is the photogenic twin". 

"But you are better looking then Will" Luke said which made me laugh. I went to the bathroom after that to have a shower and wash my hair. 

After my shower I dried my hair and left it straight because I couldn't be bothered doing anything else. I wrapped the towel around me and walked back into my bedroom. Luke was lying on my bed playing on his phone.

I grabbed my clothes and underwear and went back to the bathroom. I put on my white playsuit with thin straps and it went around mid thigh. I applied a bit more make-up then usual and then went back into my room. 

Luke was dressed and wearing his black muscle tank with a skull on it, denim shorts(omg that sounds so weird) the ones that aren't like long or short and his black Vans. How does he always look good, teach me you're ways. 

I went and slipped on my gold sandals and put in my pearl studs and put my silver love heart necklace. 

"Does this look ok?" I asked Luke getting my sunglasses. 

"You look gorgeous" he said which made me smile. We left 10 minutes saying goodbye to Will who was going out with some of his friends. 

"Who's car, mine or yours?" I asked and Luke headed towards mine but of course he was driving. Our drive to wherever we were going was very quiet and it mostly consisted of me replying to messages and things like that. 

"Ally, we are here!" Luke exclaimed and I locked my phone. I looked out the window and we were at one of Sydney's biggest shopping centers. 

"Excuse me but what are we doing here?" I asked and Luke rolled his eyes. 

"I'm taking you shopping" Luke said and I shook my head. 

"I can't let you do that Luke, you've done enough already" I said as Luke got out of the car.

"Well it sucks to be you, because I'm not taking no for an answer" Luke said opening my door and I eventually got out. 

"I feel bad' I said as we walked inside. Luke shook his head and took my hand. 

"You don't need to feel bad, you are my girlfriend and I will spend my money on you if I want too" Luke said and I smiled a bit. 

"So you sure it's ok?" I asked and Luke sighed. 

"Alexandra Madeline Payton it's fine ok, now where do you want to go first?" he asked and I stopped walking. 

"Can we go to Zara?" I asked and Luke nodded and we headed over to Zara. 

-----------2 Hours Later--------

"Thank you for everything Luke" I said as we left and he smiled. 

"You are very welcome" he said as we reached the car and we got in and drove off. I plugged in my phone and started playing Ed Sheeran. 

Once we arrived home there were like 15 or so cars around my house and I got out of the car, forgetting my bags. 

"Lucas Robert Hemmings, what did you do?" I asked as I opened the door. 

"SURPRISE HAPPY 17TH ALEX!" everyone yelled and I broke out into a smile. 

Luke's POV =) 

"Where's Will?" Alex asked and he stood up from the couch. 

"I'm here".

"Did they do this for you too?" she asked and Bec awed. Alex had so much love for her brother, 

"Yeah but I got back half an hour ago" Will said and Alex smiled, giving her brother a hug. 

"Well now that's sorted, oh my god guys thankyou so much!" she exclaimed and everyone cheered. 

"Let's get the party started!" Adi started and she started playing some music. 

Alex had gone off with some friends with gave me the perfect opportunity to find the boys and get ready for the performance. 

"Guys, it's time" I said to the boys. 

"Time for what?" Michael asked. 

"To perform you idiot" I said and they all stood up. While we were gone, the boys set up everything on Alex's deck outside and that's we were headed. 

I grabbed my guitar and sat on my stool. 

"EVERYONE OUTSIDE!" Ashton yelled through his microphone and everyone headed outside. I kind of felt bad doing this because Josh was here but Alex keeps on telling me that he is over her. 

Once everyone was outside I started to talk. 

"Um hey guys, I'm Luke and I'm Alex's boyfriend" I began and then Bec cut me off. 

"Well no shit Luke" she said and everyone laughed. 

"Anyway, I wrote this song for her birthday and um yeah here is Everything I want" I said and everyone cheered. 

They can say what they say

"Luke you are amazing" Alex said crying and she ran up and gave me a hug. Everyone cheered and I kissed her on the lips.

"Happy 17th birthday baby" I whispired in her ear.
