Alex's POV =)
Uni today, nope. But luckily for me it's only a half day which is good and afterwards I'm going out with everyone meaning Luke, the boys and girls.
I slowly removed myself from Luke's strong grip and went to get ready.
I put on my white denim sleeveless dress which went around mid thigh, gold sandals, my pearl earrings and my glasses. I applied a little bit of sea salt spray so the ends of my hair were a little bit wavy. I applied a little bit of make-up, grabbed my things and wrote a note to Luke saying that I would be back soon.
I quickly made myself a piece of bread with Nutella on it and ran out the door into my car. I only had double Fashion today and a quick rowing meeting and then I could go home.
It only took me half an hour to get there and as soon as I did I parked my car and headed inside. I caught Eboni with her black hair in a messy bun on the way to class.
"Long time no see hey" I said with a smile and she let out a little laugh.
"It's been what, 4 days ?".
"Too long Eb, too long" I said with a grin and she pulled me into a side hug. We entered class and sat down next to Emma.
"Hi guys" Emma said to us and I smiled.
"Hey Em" Eboni and I said in unison and we all let out a little laugh. Our teacher came in followed by a lady who looked to be in her early 30s and a guy who looked to be in his late 20s.
"Ok class, this is Mathew Price and Zara King of Sydney Fashion Institute and they are here to offer one of you a job". Loud whispers went around the class room but they soon died down when Ms Prim gave us the look.
"We will be looking through you're work during these two lessons and if we find something we like, we will offer you a job" Matthew said and we all nodded, all of our attention on him.
"And also everyone, you will be planning out outfits for your chosen occasion on Polyvore today" Ms Prim said. Everyone nodded and then got down to work,
I really hope I get this job, it would be such a good experience and heaps of fun! My chosen occasion was concerts, casual, dressy ect.
At the end of the lesson, you could've heard a pin drop that's how quiet it was.
"We have made our decision, and we both wanted to let you know that it was a very tough decision" Zara said her brown eyes narrowing.
"And we have decided to offer the job to, Alexandra Payton" Matthew said and I broke out into a massive grin.
"Alexandra, do you accept this offer?" Zara asked. If I wasn't so happy right now, I would've punched her in the face for calling me Alexandra.
"I do, thank you vary much" I said and they nodded, giving me a small smile. Everyone clapped and cheered and then I went up to them and they gave me all the information I needed. I couldn't stop smiling the whole time they were telling me this.
"Congrats Alex!" Eboni and Emma said in unison when I got back into my seat and I started smiling like crazy again.
"Thanks girls" I said with a grin and then the bell went and I headed off to the Rowing shed and I met Jordan along the way.
"Guess what Jords?" I said with a grin.
"What Ally?".
"Well you were supposed to guess but whatever, I just got offered a job by the Sydney Fashion Institute!".
"That's wicked, did you accept?" Jordan asked as we got close to the shed.
"Of course I did what kind of person do you think I am" I said with a wink and we walked inside and sat down.
They just really talked about crews for the weekend and training tomorrow and I was probably zoned out for most of the meeting.
"Man that was so boring" Jordan said as we left the room and I nodded in agreement.
"I zoned out for most of it though" I said sheepishly and Jordan rolled his eyes.
"Of course you did".
"Anyways I gotta go, I'll see you tomorrow?" I asked giving him a hug and he nodded and then I left to go to my car.
I pretty much blasted The 1975 the whole way home and when I did get home I noticed Will was out and so was Luke.
I headed inside and down to our living room which basically only Will and I use.
I sat down at the piano and started at it. I hadn't played it for a while but hey, no one is around so I can do what I want.
I started playing the tune to Gabrielle Aplin's 'Salvation' one of my favourite songs.
"My salvation, my my" I sang loudly. I didn't notice the 7 people entering my house.
Luke's POV =)
I saw that Alex was home and I told everyone and we all headed over to her house. She had left the door unloved, typical Alex.
I heard music playing and I followed the sound down to her and Will's shared living room. I told everyone to be quiet and Bec pulled out her phone.
I looked in the room and saw that it wasn't a CD, it was Alex herself. My girlfriend can sing and play the piano, really well. She sounds like fucking Gabrielle Aplin.
By the looks on everyone's faces, they didn't know that Alex couldn't sing either.
"I never meant to fall for you" she continued to sing and my mouth was open wide. When she finished Calum made a sound and she turned around, startled looking.
"How long were you guys there for?" Alex asked clearly embarrassed.
"Pretty much the whole song" Maria said and she went bright pink.
"You guys didn't need to hear that".
"Babe, you were amazing!" I exclaimed and she smiled and blushed again.
"I haven't sung or played the piano in ages".
"Didn't stop you from being amazing" Ashton said and she stood up and broke out into a smile.
"You should sing more often" I whispered in her ear.
"I think I'll leave that to you Hemmings" she said in my ear and I smiled.
"So what are we doing now?" Michael asked.
"The usual?" Adi suggested and everyone said yes and we set off.
"And oh by the way I got a job" Alex said after a while.
"Ooo where?" Bec asked.
"At the Sydney Fashion Institute" Alex said with a grin and I took her right hand and intertwined my fingers with hers.
"That's amazing, when do you start?" I asked and she looked up with me at a grin.
"In a week, so next Monday" Alex said and we all cheered.
"Our baby is growing up" Calum said with fake sobs and we all laughed, apart from Alex.
"Shut up Calum" Alex said and we walked inside the fish and chips shop. Alex being the only one getting chicken nuggets.
"Are you ever not going to get chicken nuggets?" Adi asked raising an eyebrow.
"Nope, they are my life" Alex said simply and then she broke out into giggles.
"You are so weird" Bec said as we sat down. Alex's head was resting on my shoulder and I couldn't help but smiling.
"Yeah coming from you" she said poking her tongue at at the brown haired girl.
This is probably one of the many reasons I fell for Alex. She doesn't take life to seriously and doesn't take silly things to heart.
Even though she is a little bit broken, more then the rest of us she hardly ever shows it. She makes me so proud all the time.
