It's midnight now and even more people are in this tiny house. Abby is nowhere to be found yet again, so I'm stuck trying to find another friend. I grab my 2nd beer from the cooler by the back door and begin to search for someone I know. I decide to go outside in the backyard, not many people are out there but if I'm lucky I can find Ashton or Luke.

Before I can open the back door myself, someone on the other side swings it open, hardly missing my face. I look up and see a face I wish I hadn't, Tony. He smiles down at me while licking his lips. I make a gagging noise then push past him to reach the back patio. Finally I can see Ashton near the small tree in the middle of his backyard. He's alone just looking at the sky, I almost don't want to disturb him, he actually looks pretty peaceful. I slowly walk up to him, knocking him out of his thoughts.

"Hey Victoria!" I scrunch my nose when I hear him call me by my full name.

"Hey Ash. What are you doing out here?"

"I felt like I was about to pass out in there." He smiles and points to the drink in my hand, "How many have you had?"

"This is my second one." I return a smile and he nods his head.

"Are you planning on getting drunk?" He asks with a smirk.

"Nope, I don't get drunk." I answer honestly.

"Why not?! You used to get drunk at every party you went to!"

"Just reasons." I press my lips into a line and look away.

"Ahh, I see. Then you might want to make that your last one." He laughs and I crack a smile.

"Well, I mean, technically I've had 2 and 3/4ths. Earlier that asshole Tony grabbed my ass so I dumped a nearly full can on his head." Ashtons eyes get wide and he quickly errupts in laughter.

"Oh my god that's priceless. I would have paid to see his reaction to that." He controls his laughter and wipes a fake tear from his eye, "I used to be friends with Tony, like in 9th grade. He had this massive crush on you and it seems like it still hasn't gone away."

"Ashton it's not a crush at this point, it's more like an obsession." I lightly laugh and Ashton pushes himself from off the tree.

"That's very true. I'm gonna go inside, wanna come with me?"

"No, I'm gonna call Abby and see if she wants to go home, I haven't sat down once in 5 hours and I'm starting to think my feet are gonna fall off."

"Suit yourself." He waves and I smile while he walks back into the crowded house.

I pull out my phone checking the time, 12:20. The party isn't even close to being over and I want to go home already. I was about to call Abby when I remembered it's blaring music in there, there's no way she'd hear her phone ringing. I'd be fine with finding her on my own if there wasn't so many people, and if my feet didn't hurt so bad to the point I feel like crying. But I really have no choice. I pick myself up from the chair I sat down in only moments before and begin to look for Michael and Abby.

The only place I can imagine to think is that they're upstairs. I make my way through the partially drunk teens and reach the stairs, using the rest of the energy I have to go up them. I knock on the door and a male voice calls out, "someone's in here!"

I sigh and walk to the bedroom by the bathroom and open it, there's only a passed out girl hanging slightly off the bed. Ashton keeps his room locked from the inside so no one can go in there, so I already know they're not in there. I head to the extra bedroom hoping to find them there. I already have a feeling I won't, the only thing in there is a desk and a spare matress. I twist the door knob and slowly push the door open, only to see the complete opposite of what I was expecting.

Calum is laying across the spare mattress on the floor with a skanky-looking blonde straddling him. His arm is around the small of her back. Both their heads snap in my direction, her eyes filled with anger. She looks as if she's about to attack me for ruining her little "moment" with Calum. He doesn't even let it phase him. He's staring at me with a look that says "oh, hey."

"My bad." I say hardly above a whisper and begin to shut the door.

"Yeah, your bad." I hear the blonde mutter before she goes back to kissing up Calum's neck.

I roll my eyes and full shut the door then turn on my heel and continue to search for Abby and Michael.
