Tori's P.O.V

I'm woken up by a loud cough at the other end of the room. How long had I been asleep? I rub my eyes and stretch my arms, slowly sitting up from my spot. I notice I'm still on Calum's couch and Calum is in a chair across from me. His head is hanging slightly from the side with his feet propped up on the tiny table in front of both the couch and the chair. I want to wake him up but he looked exhausted when I came to his house, I should probably let him sleep.

I kick my feet off the couch and silently scream at the pain in my side. I struggle to get up before slowly making my way to the front door. Calum stirs in the chair after I pass, flipping over on his side and pulling one knee up on the chair. I seriously should wake him up and tell him to go back to sleep on the couch. When he wakes up from sleeping like that he'll probably be in as much pain as I'm in.

I turn back around and reach the back of the chair. My arm goes to shake his shoulder but I stop right before doing anything. Should I wake him up?

Yes, I should.

I lightly shake his shoulder and his eyes instantly shoot open.

"Stop!" He screams. "Please stop!"

"Calum, Calum! Calm down!" I say louder than him. I quickly walk to the front of the chair and grab his shoulders. His eyes settle on mine and he finally relaxes. He's sweating like crazy, that must've been one hell of a dream. "It's okay, it was just a nightmare."

"Fuck." He says while wiping his forehead with the top of his arm. He brings his hands to his face and takes deep breaths. I can't decide if I should ask him if he wants to talk about it or not

"Are you okay? What was it about?" I ask hardly over a whisper.

"Nothing. It was nothing. I'm fine." His words are rushed and he removes my hands from his shoulders. He pushes himself up from the chair and walks anxiously into the kitchen before grabbing a bottle of water. I expect him to drink it but he dumps half the bottle on his face. I don't blame him, I would do the same if I was as sweaty as him.

I stay still in my spot, observing his actions. What was that nightmare about? Hell he looked like he had just seen a person murder his whole family.

"You should go home." He finally says after drying his face with a towel.

"Are you sure? I'll stay if you need someon-"

"No, I'm fine, seriously." He walks out of the kitchen and up the stairs to his room. He always leaves me standing there like an idiot.

Calum's P.O.V

I look out my window to see Tori limping across the street to her house. Fuck I should've helped her.

That dream. That fucking dream is the reason I can't sleep. Whenever I close my eyes the same haunting images come back and I can never get them to fucking leave. My hair is still wet from when I dumped the water bottle on me. Why did I do that in front of her? She probably thinks I'm insane. Why did she have to fucking wake me up?

But I'm glad she did. Waking up with someone there is a lot better than waking up from a nightmare on your own.

I can't handle this. I can't handle the constant memory of what was done. What went on for months. What no one believed. The memory is always going to be there and it's never gonna leave me. I'm always going to remember it. The way I felt. The fear that it would happen again. The fact that I knew it was going to happen again. There was no running it or escaping it. I was put through hell for months and now no one believes me so I'm stuck in hell by myself.
