I'm so sorry I took so long to update, I've been so busy with school work I never found the time to write but I'll be trying my hardest to update every day or so :)

The next 2 weeks fly by, every day consisting of daily visits from my mother and Abby. Calum hasn't showed up once since he left my room a couple weeks ago, and I'm glad. Without seeing him makes it  a lot easier to get over the tiny feelings I had for him. I'm just glad to get out of this hell hole. Hospital food isn't the best meal to have for 14 days straight.

I'm wheeled out of the hospital in a wheelchair to my moms car. The nurse helps me stand up and surprisingly it isn't as hard to walk as I expected it to be. My mom quickly wraps her arm cautiously around my side and makes me put my arm over her shoulder. I limp slowly to the passenger side and lift myself up to sit. God it feels so good to be going home.

My mom walks to the drivers side and stops to look at me before turning the car on.

"You good? You're not in pain are you? Does your side hurt?" She's asked the same questions every day since she found out I was shot.

"Mum, I'm fine. I just wanna go home. I want to go see my friends and go somewhe-" she interrupts me.

"Victoria you are in no condition to be going anywhere!" She says a little too loudly.

"Mum! Stop. Please stop. I've been in the same room every day for the past two weeks. My side is slowly healing, the only issue is it's a little hard to walk. Do you think I'm going to go run a maration or something? No. I just want to go to Abby's house."

She lets out a deep sigh and looks down at her lap.

"I'm sorry. You're right. Why don't you go to Calum's? His mum told me you've been hanging out with him lately!" She smiles. She's always loved Calum and I never will understand why. I guess she's also happy that her daughter finally is 'talking to a boy'.

"We hung out a few times while Michael and Abby were there, we don't really work well together." I say honestly.

"Well his mum told me he needs friends, he's had the same friends for all of high school and it made her happy to see he's seeing someone new. Why don't you go over to his house when we get home? Just to try it?" She basically pleads.

"But mum-" I look over to see her pracitcally begging with her eyes. "Ugh fine. I'll go over there for an hour and that's it. I'm telling you, me and him do not like each other. If one of us dies in the end it's your fault."

She giggles and I can't help but crack a smile. I'm so glad I'm alive to hear her laugh again.

The rest of the car ride goes by quickly and before I know it I'm standing in front of Calum's door knocking and waiting for it to open. Calum hates me and I hate him, we both made that clear, so why am I doing this?

Oh yeah, to make two desperate mothers happy.

My thoughts are interrupted when the door flies open and Calum is standing there with a shocked expression.

"Why are you here?" He asks too harshly.

"A simple, 'hey how's your side doing?' would've been fine too." I reply while pushing past him in to his surprisingly clean house.

"Whoa why the fuck are you in my house?" He walks in front of me to prevent me from going further.

"Our mums found out we had been hanging out and they're glad we're both 'making a new friend', so my mum made me come here to hang out with my new 'buddy.' Trust me, I don't want to be here either." I say while pushing past him once again and sitting on his couch. "Where are your parents anyway?" I try and make this play-date a little less awkward.
