It was almost impossible to believe that Green Hair actually came to my house and scary too given that I didn't tell him my address. He stood there looking at the ceiling with a red face avoiding mine at all costs, I though he couldn't breath or something.
"Uh, you're..."
While still looking away he points down I look down at him confused until I seen I was still in my boxers.
"God! I'm sorry! I'll be back."
He nervously laughs and I run to my room rummaging through my closet for something to wear, my sweats were the only quick and sensible thing to wear so I slip into them and pulled a shirt on. I can't believe he seen me naked like this, I thought it would be the other way around.
"Nice little place you have here."
Green hair said weakly sitting on the couch with his hands in his lap, he looked nervous or tense, I return, clothed, and straight into the kitchen.
"Want anything to drink?"
"That'll be nice."
The glass bottles clink as I hold two in one hand, he sat on the couch looking at the games that were still laid out from yesterday. I flop down on the couch next to him causing him to move closer due to my weight compared to his.
"You're here."
"That is true, lad."
Green hair said cheerfully then took a sip of his Coke. I've never experienced this type of awkwardness since the times I had to have talks with my prom dates dads.
"How?"
"Well I texted you that'll be coming to see you instead, but I guess you didn't get it."
I reach for my phone forgetting it was on silent and unlocked my screen seeing the messages from him.
"Green Hair? Is that me?"
"Yea sorry, I didn't get you're name while at the store."
He laughs and set the glass bottle of Coke on the table, but accidentally putting it on one of the games. At least they won't be sticky rings on my coffee table.
"Shall we get into the game?"
I didn't want to focus on the game so fast, I wanted to get to know him and talk more about regular people things so I made up a lie that I hope will work.
"I wish we could, but my game system is broken sadly."
His brow frowns and I know that he is believing it, Mark: worlds greatest lier.
"What should we do then?"
Green Hair surprisingly believed me.
"Well I just invited you, basically a stranger, into my house without even knowing you're name, so tell me about you Green Hair."
I stretch my arms out on the couch and kick my legs up on the coffee table.
"My name is Sean McLoughlin, my favorite color is green, uh... I'm 28, I love video games and computer games, and uh...I don't know what else to say."
He dies down back into laughter and I'm laughing as well, me and Green hair aren't really different at all. An idea pops into my head.
"Here, come with me."
I stand and Sean follows me down the hall to a spare room where I come to chill. Kinda like a man cave just not underground or the huge like one.
"You said you like games, right"
"Yes? I hope you're not planning on killing me."
Sean said putting his fist up in defense backing away, he looks so adorable.
"No, this is my game room."
My game room had the computer in the corner and next to it was equipment for my microphone and such; the walls were sound proof, so I could be as loud as I wanted, I had a black sofa in there as well and a TV.
Sean walks in looking around in awe, he walks straight to the bookshelf that had all the games I've played."You think its cool?" I ask praying he approves.
"It's awesome, I'm guessing you have a lot of time on you're hands?"
Sean moves his hand up and down the shelf of games like he would be someone's assistant in trying to sell it to me, I laugh and walk over to my chair and slowly sink in folding my hands behind my head.
"You have no idea. But I have even more games on my computer."
"Let's see what games you have here, then."
Sean surprises me sitting in between my parted legs and looking through my computer for the games I've been playing, I blush uncontrollably he's so close to me.
I slowly wrap my arms around his waist and pull him closer to me, he doesn't react so I go further resting my head on his back. Sean's scent was fading to pine cones, my couch, but still lingered enough for me to know that's his smell. He takes my arms from around him and turns to look me in my eyes, those deep sea blue eyes, then kisses me. He actually kisses me and it felt like my fist kiss, from the fluttering feeling in my stomach to the pounding in my chest.
It was magic but also electrifying to wake every nerve in my body."I haven't kissed a guy in so long, especially one as hot as you, I almost forgotten how it felt. I'm sorry I did that."
Sean jumps up from the seat we shared feeling ashamed at what he just did, but I grab a hold of his wrist and pull him back into my lap, I stare into his deep blue eyes.
"Don't be sorry. Just do it again."
