Areum's father's point of view:
The taxi hauled in front of our little apartment. I quickly paid the driver and cautiously made my way into the building. The lights were switched off, it didn't make sense. I glanced down at my watch, it was only 7:01, I would've expected Bo Mi to be awake still. I shuffled to our front door, fumbling around with the keys trying to get them to fit into the keyhole. I heard shuffling and heavy breathing from more than one person on the other side of the door.
Hesitatingly, I turned the key and slowly pushed the door open, hoping I wouldn't see what I thought was happening. I flicked on the lights and the giggling from inside instantly stopped, my bags instantly dropped at my sides at the sight of the two frozen figures in front of me. Unfortunately, it was exactly what I thought it was. Bo Mi's eyes widened, her arms were still wrapped around the guy she was making out with. My eyes narrowed, body still at the doorframe and hands balled into fists.
"What the hell?!" I yelled at them.
They both unraveled away from each other and stood awkwardly. Bo Mi not being able to look me in the eyes and the other man shuffling to grab his jacket from the ground. He folded his jacket in his arms and waddled back to Bo Mi.
"Get out!" I screamed pointing at the door.
He quickly ran out, not looking back once. I slammed the door, frustrated. Anger and confusion blocked my mind. Why would she do this to me? I left everything just for her, and this is how she repays me?
I grabbed my bags whilst Bo Mi tried to speak, "It's not wha-" her voice barely above a whisper.
"Don't." I said sternly.
I walked into our shared room, roughly nudging her weak form in front of me as I stormed by. I threw my things across the room, screeching in anger at the plain, white wall.
I leaned on the wall, grabbing my hair in frustration. I slid down and plopped onto the floor trying to maintain myself. I closed my eyes and she came to mind again. Haneul. Why was I thinking of her? I didn't love her anymore. I didn't- I heard a knock on the door, my head witted round to find Bo Mi peeking inside, tears streaming down her face, before showing her full body in front of me.
I got up and rolled my eyes at her, "What do you want?" I said coldly. I walked over to the cabinets and pulled out a suitcase, stuffing it with all my belongings.
"I'm s..sorry." She whimpered.
I gave her a disgusted look and continued packing.
"I didn't me... We..." She couldn't speak at all, her body trembling now.
"Whatever." I murmured, closing up the bag.
I began heading out our once shared room before she grabbed my arm.
"Please, I'm sorry." She whined, breaking down completely.
I shook her off but she slipped her hand into mine, refusing to let go.
"What happened to you?" She asked, looking at my bandaged head.
"Why would you care? You're to busy sucking on other people's face to notice what's going on with your own husband." I scoffed at her, she flinched at my words.
I shook her off again and made my way to the door. I turned to her, my hand lingering near the door knob.
"What did I do wrong?" My voice wary towards the end of the question, tears threatening my eyes.
The look on her face changed from sadness to anger in an instant. "What did you do wrong?" She spoke. "Everyday you're out. You never have time for me. You don't love me like you did before!"
