Seoyeon's point of view:
I stood near the end of the staircase, leaning on the wall as I watched Jimin put on his shoes. He finally jumped up, grabbing his bag off of the floor.
"You sure you don't wanna come today?" Jimin asked, slinging his bag over his shoulder.
"Go to school, where everyone hates me and I'm gonna have a miserable time? I hummed, counting the different points on my fingers. "Hmm, I'll pass."
"You can't just hide, you know that?" Jimin argued, he turned the door knob and stepped outside.
"I know." I sighed, following him out. "But today's not my day." I smiled, bringing the ends of my cardigan to wrap around myself as a cold gush of wind passed by.
"So when is 'your day'?" Jimin said, adding air quotation marks and rolling his eyes at me. He crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow, waiting for my answer.
"Well, normally it's Saturdays, but I can do occasional Fridays too." I retorted.
"What does that even mean?" Jimin chuckled, his eyes squinting shut as his cheeks engulfed most of his face.
I shrugged, smiling lamely at him. It was very early and I had no idea why I was awake. Maybe because of the cramps that ate away at my stomach the entire night, stopping me from sleeping through a single moment of peace. Or maybe it was the doubt and regret eating away at the back of my head. I still wasn't sure if I could tell Jimin the entire truth.
What I told him so far was out of frustrated feelings, and though it has made things easier it was difficult to tell whether I could bring up the new, more sensitive topic. The boss. Bo Mi. The crazy mission. It was all a lot for me to take in let alone Jimin to have to deal with.
"I better start leaving," Jimin smiled, he made his way out the front gate and waved at me, before turning back to the road and making his way down the street.
I smiled and waved back, closing the door behind me when he was gone. This was the first time I was alone in the house. And in all honesty I didn't know what to do. For the past few days I was hiding from Jimin or spilled out truths, so not having to do anything made me feel like I was wasting my hours.
I looked round the house to see if I could do anything that would take up time. But everything was clean, the dishes were done, laundry was done, everything was done. I climbed back upstairs and walked through into the room I was given.
"It really took you that long to say bye?" A voice popped.
I let out a little scream, jumping a little before realising it was only Bo Mi. She was lazily leaning on the chair at the dressing table, her hood hung over her face so I could only see the end tips of her short hair, and as usual her fingers were twirling around a small knife.
"You need to stop doing this." I huffed, flopping onto my bed.
"Stop doing what?" Bo Mi popped raising, furrowing her eyebrows slightly.
"Sneaking in here. You're gonna get caught." I grumbled. Yes, this wasn't the first time she's snuck into the house to see me. In fact ever since that day she's always making regular check ups on me, and she won't even tell me why.
"Wow look." She exclaimed, pointing at very decorated vase. "This has to be like, ₩30000000!" She popped.
Though that being said it was slightly amusing watching her curious hands explore the room. She only came here when it was dark and never really got to see my room properly. "Why are you here anyway?" I asked, watching her get overexcited with every little thing she found.
