I sat down next to Taehyung, bringing my legs up and curling myself into a ball. I looked up to Seoyeon and Jimin, glancing at each other and then at us, trying to hold their laughter in.
"I can't believe you did that." I mumbled to myself, burying my head into my jumper so that only my eyes could be seen.
"What was that?" Taehyung popped. I looked over at him, smirking. He winked at me and I rolled my eyes.
"Nothing." I grumbled.
"Sooo..."Jimin popped. "You gonna finish that or?" He asked, eyeing the cake.
"What th-" Seoyeon glared at Jimin, who just shrugged and took Taehyung's cake and began to eat it.
"Yah!" Taehyung groaned, watching Jiming scoff his cake down. "First you come uninvited and now you're eating my cake." He popped, taking my cake and wolfing down a the entire thing in one go.
"Hey!" I yelled, snatching back the empty box and punching his arm. I got up and dragged Seoyeon up with me. "I'm going upstairs." I popped.
"I guess I'm going too." Seoyeon shrugged, following behind me, with another cake.
I ran upstairs and flopped onto Taehyung's bed, watching Seoyeon follow through into the room. She leant against the doorframe and crossed her arms, looking at me in amusement.
"You guys are cute." She popped, smirking at me.
I began to turn red as I remembered what Taehyung had done earlier. "Wha... uh...yeah okay." I said quietly, stuffing my face with vanilla cake to muffle out my voice.
"Aww." She retorted. "Ooh, I have news!" Seoyeon cried excitedly, sitting next to me and handing me the box.
I opened it up and started to munch on the dessert as she spoke. "What?" I asked, immediately lightening up to match her persona.
"I've not only found a new job, but I also found a great place for me to stay." She exclaimed, her face bright. In fact, I've not seen her so happy in a long time. It was nice.
"That's great!" I popped. "Who are you moving in with?"
"Actually, I'm renting the place. It's a good deal and I think I can pay it off with my job and the student finance support." She said.
"Wait, you're moving out on your own?" I asked, slightly shocked over the news. It was great to see Seoyeon so excited about something but I didn't want things to fall onto her again.
"Don't worry Areum, I've been thinking long and hard about this, and everything else too. As long you're here by my side I can do it." She popped, her eyes waiting for me to come through.
"Only if I get to visit at least twice a week, minimum." I answered, giving into her small yet genuine smile.
"It's a little bit further away from here, but sure." She hummed, stretching her arms and legs out. "Ahh, I'm so excited." She squealed.
"Aww, why are you in such a hurry to move out from Jimin's?" I teased, smirking at her.
"Huh..wa...I'm not.. I mean... yeah it's nice but.. I'm not saying that I didn't like it there.... well not like tha.. but..you know..." she mumbled, barely able to get a sentence out.
"Okay okay. Don't hurt yourself." I laughed. "When are you moving?" I asked, grabbing the empty cake box and flattening it out.
"Today, actually." She smiled.
"Well both I and Taehyung will be very happy to help in any way we can." I offered, scraping bits of buttercream that stuck to the box and popping it into my mouth.
