Areum's point of view:
We finally made it to the large building. We walked into the elevator and arrived to the top floor. Taehyung slipped his hand into mine and lead into the room on far end of the corridor.
"So what you wanna do?" I asked, looking around the room. There was boxes all around the room. After Mr. Kim passed, no one knew what to do with his things. I guess they decided to put it all away.
"We're putting these all away, but I was hoping that we could find some of his own things. So far I only have this." He said softly, pulling out Mr. Kim's glasses from his pocket.
"You keep those on you?" I smiled, placing my hand over his.
"All the time." He said quietly, he placed them onto his face. "How'd I look?"
"Just like your dad." I said.
"Let's start with the smaller boxes." He popped, leading to me to the other side of the office.
We sat down at the desk, opening up the box to reveal only a picture frame and file.
"Why did they only put this much in here." I popped, tilting my head in confusion.
"What do you mean?" He hummed, already moving to the next box after placing the picture frame beside him.
"It doesn't make sense." I mumbled, I opened up the folder seeing that it was completely empty. "It's empty!" I cried.
"So what?" He answered back, paying no attention to me subtly freaking out because he was too engulfed in the other boxes.
"You're not the least bit suspicious?" I asked, tossing the empty file back into the box.
"Not really." He sang out.
"Well I am," I said. "Something's a little off."
"Let's look through the rest of the boxes first, we could maybe even find something to do with this." Taehyung suggested, moving the small box away from us.
"Okay," I sighed out, shuffling closer to Taehyung as he searched through the boxes.
We continued looking through every box in the room, till we were sat back near the door, with the boxes on one side and things Taehyung wanted to take him on the other.
"Remind me why your father has a unicycle here?" I huffed, collapsing back onto the ground. I blew my hair out the way waiting for Taehyung to join me.
"Where'd you think my weirdness comes from?" He chuckled, lying down next to me.
"Right." I popped. I looked over to the mountain of boxes. "We didn't find any more links to that empty box." I frowned, remembering the empty file from earlier.
"Ahh Areum," Taehyung said tiredly, rubbing his eyes beneath the glasses frames. "Let it go." He smiled lightly.
"It just seems a little odd." I muttered.
"It's probably nothing." Taehyung chirped, pulling me so that we sat upright.
"And we didn't find much of Mr. Kim's things." I added.
