[Tony's POV]

Once Mike and i saw what that bastard was doing to Avie, we all ran inside and alerted Officer Rhodes and the staff.

We all ran down to Avie's room seeing the nurse kicking Avie in the stomach and Officer Rhodes arrests him, having him at gun point.

I ran to Avery, who was on the ground, motionless.

"Avie, talk to me, please. Say something," i said.

She only looked up at the ceiling, blinked twice and just stared blankly at me.

Her once pretty chocolate brown eyes were now empty black pits, her wrists with blisters on them, rings around her eyes, and needle marks on her arms.

She looked almost dead.

"Dear god, what did they do to you?" i muttered.

"We're taking Avery Winters, no exceptions," Officer Rhodes said.

After we signed some stuff, Avery was free.

The nurses dressed ehr up in her regular clothes, but she looked so... God, I can't even describe it.

Its as if they literally suckd out her soul.

Officer Rhodes had already left with the arrested nurse.

I took Avie's hand and we exit the hospital back to the car.

"How long will she be like this? Its like she's a zombie or something," Jaime said worriedly.

We just arrived to the hotel and Avie was still in the same state.

There was a cut on the side of her forehead from where her head was smashed against the glass and bruises on her stomach. Vic was working on the cut on her head.

She hasn't spoken a word yet, or even shown any signs that she was in pain or anything.

Its like e saved a lifeless doll insted of Avery.

"I don't know," Vic replied to Jaime.

I knelt down in front of her and held gently to her thin shoulders.

"Avery, please, say something. Anything," i pleaded.

"I feel... fine... and happy," she said blankly.

"That doesn't sound like her, especially after all she's been through.

"Avie, its me, Tony. I don't know what they did to you, but everything will be okay. You'll get better soon," i said.

I hope.

"Tony...." she murmured.

"Yes, yes! Its me!" i said, hoping this doesnt affect her memories.

"Tony wouldn't care about me. I am just another regular person, that will stay positive, serene, and happy again, with no pain or sadness of any kind," she said emotionlessly.

My heart shattered.

"You're wrong! I do care, Avery! I want you to be happy, but not this kind of happy. Snap out of it, please!!" i shouted, tears streaming from my eyes.

She was quiet and blank, and i couldn't help but pull her into my arms and quietly cry.

"Please, come back," i whispered as i held her close to me.
