[Tony's POV]
After helping Avie and Mike with the groceries and getting some food outside, i had her meet up with Sleeping With Sirens and Bring Me The Horizon, since we invited them both over.
"And, here we are. Avie, you're probably familiar with Sleeping with Sirens and Bring Me the Horizon. Guys, this is my girlfriend, Avie," i said.
"Dang, Tony, you said you had a girl, you never said she was real cute," Kellin said.
She blushed at Kellin's comment. "Hehe, thanks. I'm a big fan."
"That's great to hear," Oli said.
"We're also told you had a hard time back then, and just so you know, Avie, we're always here if you ever need someone to talk to," Jack said.
She nodded and gave a small smile. "Thanks," she said.
We then sat down as Avie got to know the guys, we soon started playing football as Vic and Mike cooked on the barbeque.
Avie tried catching, but wasn't so good at catching a football. Nichols threw the ball and it kind of hit Avie in the head. Lucky she only walked away wih a bump on her head.
"Are you sure you're alright??" i asked as i iced the bump on her forehead and she sipped on some soda.
"Honest, I'm fine. Just won't ever attempt to play sports for the rest of my natural days," she said.
"Again, I am so sorry, Avie," Nichols said, feeling guilty.
"Its okay. After all, everyone gets hit in sports, right??" she said, helping him not feel guilty.
It was soon we just decided to swim in the pool and changed to our bathing suits, but Avie just sat by the side and picked at her food. She had changed into a purple tank top and denim shorts, and i think she was wearing her bathing suit under.
"Avie, you okay??" i asked as i swam to the edge to where she was, Kellin trying to sink Vic.
"I'm fine, just not hungry," she said.
I've lately noticed Avie avoiding meals most of the time, and its beginning to worry me.
"Babe, you got to eat," he said.
"I know, i'm trying. Honest, i am," she said a bit sadly.
I leaned up and kissed her cheek.
"Just be strong, okay, you can do it," i told her.
She nodded and cut a small piece of steak with her fork and ate it. Her face showed of disgust at first and then she breathed in and swallowed the food.
"Better??" i asked.
"A bit. Just thinking, you know," she said.
"About??"
"Well, i wanted to tell you later on, but... I ran into Randy Dylan at the supermarket today," she said a bit worriedly.
I felt my face fall a bit, my eyebrows scrunching together. "Really?? What's he doing in San Diego??"
"Visiting a cousin, i believe. He apologized for bullying me," she said.
"Ummm, that's... great, i guess," i said. "What else did he say??"
"That he broke up with Mindy Johnson because she had no heart, after some girl she bullied committed suicide. He said that's when he realized what he's been doing was wrong," she said.
"Oh... I see. Did you forgive him??" i asked.
"Well, not exactly," she said.
"What do you mean??"
"I told him it'll be hard to forgive him so easily, so its best to, you know, be aquaintances," she said.
I nodded. "That's actually a good idea," i said, smiling.
Why i love this girl. Even if sometimes she can be slightly stubborn, she's smart and always knows what's the right thing to do.
"What happened after that??" i asked.
"That's when the crazy comes in," she said. "Mindy was lurking around, and Randy said after they broke up, she won't leave him alone and she's always staling and bothering for his attention," she said. "Mike and i left before she could see us."
"Damn. Well, she's the past. So long as you don't run into her, everything's okay. I won't let anyone hurt you again," i said, leaning up and this time kissing her softly on the lips.
"Thanks, Tony," she said.
I then decided to have her swim with me a bit and put the plate of food aside and pulled her in, making her squeal.
"No, no, no, Tony, its cold!!" she whined as she began to scooch back from the water.
"Come on, just a swim," i said.
She hesitated a bit, and then sighed.
"Alright, but i won't take off my shirt," she said, pulling her phone out of her pocket and handing it over to Mike who was eating with Jordan and Emma, Jordan's wife, who also came with them.
Katelynne also came with the Quinn kids.
Avie then went back to the edge and i held her thin waist carefully as i pulled her in and she squeaked a bit when the cold hit her skin and i felt her shiver a bit, making me laugh a bit.
"Awww, so cute!!" Jordan said as Mike was snapping a picture on his phone.
She blushed as we swam around the pool a bit and soon the cold wasn't really affecting her much anymore.
After a while we all climbed out and dried off, Avie changing into warm clothes as she ate a bit more.
Soon we got the bonfire up as the sun fell and we roasted marshmallows.
I was curled up with Avie as we stared at the fire flicker and everyone laughing.
SWS had already left since Copeland fell asleep.
Soon BMTH left and we all went to bed.
I was going to bed, Avie on the couch just staring at her hot chocolate. (San Diego has been a bit chilly lately, mostly at night.)
"You alright??" i asked.
"Yeah, just had a feeling," she said, worriedly.
"Which was??" i asked.
"I don't know, probably just had a memory flash," she said.
I gave a sad smile and just peck her lips.
"You won't be sad anymore, i swear," i said. She smiled at me.
"Thanks. Come on, let's go to bed," she said.
[Unknown's POV]
I stared at them through the window.
She makes me so mad!! I hate the fucking little cry baby.
She deserved every hit she's ever gotten in the past, and now she's all happy go-lucky with rockstars?!
Not on my watch.
"You are never going to be loved as long as i'm around Winters. If i can't get love, neither will you," i growled in a whisper and just walked back.
She's gonna wish she was never born once I'm done with her.
