Not All Heroes Sing (Tony Perry Love Story)

*Chapter 60*

I got to open my presents from my birthday and Christmas.

I got to see Tony's and was nearly in tears. It was so beautiful.

Basically some tshirts and a stuffed penguin from Vic, some puppy stuff and a $30 gift card to Starbucks from Mike and Becky, a new dress from Macy, a painting set from Jaime and Jessica, and some old classic rock CD's from Matt.

Tony wanted to give me his present before midnight.

I was going to go with Macy's dress and some simple look, but the girls apparently owe me a birthday makeover.

"No, let me just do my make up, please!!!" i said as Macy was insisting i wear glitter.

The shoes and the dress have enough glitter, and i can't take the pampering!

"Alright, guys, coem on, she is somewhat still a birthday girl," Becky giggled.

I sighed with relief and took a look in the mirror at my outfit (see External link) and smile.

I actually look beautiful.

My har was straightened and loose, so i got to my make up.

I added some simple eyeliner, making a cat eye, and then some pale red lip gloss.

Soon i was ready and made my way downstairs, where there was a big party. BMTH and A Day to Remember were with us.

"Wow, Tony, you got some girl here," Nichols said, a few wolf whistles going around making me blush.

"Oi, enough guys, you're making her nervous!" Macy snapped at them, already dressed like the rest of the girls.

Tony was then at my side, kissing my cheek and then placing something on my head. I realize its a silver pearl crown.

"Tony! You did't have to buy this for me!" I said, shocked he must have spent a fortune on this.

"Don't worry. It was at a store for a pretty agreeable price, and its not real," he said. 

I smile, glad he didn't spend so much. I don't want to look like some girl being spoiled by her boyfriend. I was never one who wanted to be spoiled.

We all danced, laughed, played music, and had an amazing time, even had a few drinks around.

Soon it was time for the countdown.

"10... 9.... 8.... 7....6.... 5....."

"Alright midnight kiss!!!!!!!" Mike called and pulled Becky towards him and dipped her down and kissed her once we yelled "1."

"...3... 2... 1... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!' We all shouted as me and Tony then gave each other our midnight kiss, as well as Macy and Vic, Jaime and Jessica, and all the couples at the party.

Everyone then got back to partying when Tony pulled my and.

"Come on," he said into my ear over the loud music.

I followed Tony to the front door and we stepped outside and he give me a sweet and passionate kiss.

"Happy New Year, babe," he said.

I smile and kiss him back, sanding on my tippy-toes to kiss him.

"Happy New Year," i said.

"Well, i guess its time to give you your present," he sid, reaching into his pocket.

"Tony, i don't want you to be spoiling me with gifts," i said.

'Well, i want to. You deserve to be treated like a princess," he said, leaning down to peck my lips. "My princess."

I blush and smile at his words. His princess?

"Now, close your eyes," he said.

I do as told and i feel something wrap around my neck before Tony steps back.

"There," he said. 

I look down and gasp as i see the colorful anchor necklace clung to my neck.

"Oh my god... its beautiful," i said.

"To remind you that your anchor is too small to keep you down. Its a promise 'necklace.' I wanted to get you a promise 'ring,' though, but i couldn't afford the one i wanted for you," he said, disappointedly.

I smile and lean up, kissing him passionatly.

"Money doesn't have to make me love you. Only the care and love and protection you've given me since we've bumped into each other that night," i said.

He smiles and wraps his arms around my waist. "That was the best night of my entire life, because i met you. I love you, Avery Winters," he said, bringing happy tears to my eyes.

"I love you more, Antonio Perry," i said, and we pull in for a kiss, our arms around each other.

I love him so much. At first i thought he'd be a rockstar and abandon me, but he never gave up on me, no matter what.

Maybe there are actually heroes after all.

Soon we went back inside and partied more.
