Unfortunatly, we had to tell Avie what's happened. Everything that's happened.

As expected, she was coughing and choking on tears.

"This is all my fault," she sobbed into my shirt as i held her. "All my fucking fault, oh god."

"Its not your fault, Avie. It was your parents. They hurt you," i said as i rubbed circles on her back and tried to calm her down.

"Oh god, Rocky," she cried under her breath before letting out a cough.

"Wait, there's something else you should know, it might just cheer you up," Mike said, rushing out of the room.

I knew what Mike was talking about and smiled a bit as he came in with the puppies' box.

[Mike's POV]

I told Avie about what happened to me after waking up in the tool shed, even showed her where i needed it to be stitched up.

"Then Daffodil found me and had me followed her, and lead me to these little guys, i said, tilting the box and letting the puppies pour out and spill onto the bed.

Avie gasped as she was tackled by the small pups.

"Oh my god! They're beautiful!!" she said, petting the smallest one, who whined and whimpered.

"I talked to Becky. She decided to give us the puppies, but i gave her one, so Daffodil can still feel like a mom. The crew will choose their puppies once we get collars for them," i said.

"God, Rocky and Daffodil woud have loved being parents together," she said.

"Rocky is safe, and so are you and the pups," Tony said.

She nodded quietly and then Vic walked up to her.

[Avie's POV]

"Umm, here," he said, and handed me something. I took it and saw it was the picture of Blake i had framed.

I felt tears fighting to escape as i held them back. They won and dripped down my cheeks.

God, Avery, you're such a fucking cry baby.

"I was packing our stuff and it fell out of your bag. Sorry. I promise I'll buy you a new frame," he said.

I just looked at the picture and sighed, forcing a small smile.

"Its okay, Vic. Actually seems better like this. Makes me feel closer to him," i said.

It was then we all got into a group hug.

"Its a new life for you, Avie. You'll never be alone," Tony whispered to me.

I felt relieved when he said that. But at the same time, I felt like i should doubt it.
