[Avie's POV]
"What??" I asked, taking the letter and opening it. "That's impossible. All they left behind was their suicide note."
"Well, there is a testament recovered from your old house after having it cleaned out. They presented it to your family lawyer and he's holding family possessions. I'm pretty sure he's been trying to get a hold of you, but I don't know," Corey said.
I began to open it, but Tony stopped me.
"Wait, not here. Better to open this in private," he said.
"Tony's right. You never know who's lurking around, Avie. Open it in the hotel," Corey said.
I nodded and put the envelope in my purse.
"Anything else?" I asked, our food then being served.
"Yep. Mindy is getting life in prison for what she did to you, Randy, and Jason Meets," Corey said.
"What happened to Jason??" I asked.
"According to him, he thought Mindy went crazy the day of your rescue, and when he was going to surrender and give you to the paramedics, Mindy shot his leg and it got him in the knee. The bullet hit some major nerves and now he's stuck to a wheelchair for possibly his whole life. Another football dream shattered because of Mindy," he said. "He's in complete depression now."
"My god," I said.
"Mindy wanted to see you and apologize in person before she is transported to a federal prison," he said.
I looked up at Tony and sigh. "Alright. But it'll have to be sometime tomorrow morning so we can return to San Diego on time. We have a tour next week, Tony has to rehearse," I said.
"I'll make the call for you," Corey said. "And I also wanted to say this in person. I'm sorry for everything I've done in the past. I speak for me, Jason, and everyone else who mistreated you at school," he said.
I nodded. "Thank you, Corey. You're forgiven," I said.
He smiled and soon we finish, Corey paying the bill, even if Tony also helped pay, and we left,me and Tony to the hotel.
"You sure you want to go tomorrow?" he asked.
I nodded. "Might as well gt it out of the way. Its not like I'll ever see her again," I said.
He nodded and we headed back to the hotel.
I paced the bedroom as Tony took a shower.
The letter laid on the bed.
I sigh and open it, reading it. It was actually my father's.

This is the final will and testament of Robert Noah Winters. By now, I'm dead when you read this. My wife and I swore since marriage to die together. Now our time has come.
Our amazing older son, Blake Matthew Winters, was taken from us by crime. His little sister, our beloved daughter, Avery Stella Winters, is all that is left of the Winters family, her heart aching and broken over the loss of her brother.
That is why we leave everything in her possession. All our fortunes will belong in her name and she can decide whether to keep them or not.
And dear Avery, our little Bunny. We wish life wasn't so cruel to our unfortunate and very small family. We will always be watching over you. We love you and hope you can stay strong.
So long then,
Robert Noah Winters & Felicity Helen Winters

Tears slowly streamed down my cheeks as I stared down at the paper.
They left... They left everything... to me??
I breathed out, patting my tears away. I need to call this lawyer, to talk with tomorrow after seeing Mindy.
Tony then came out of the bathroom, towel around his neck, wearing a Glamour Kills T-shirt and boxers, his hair dripping wet and all shaggy.
"You okay??" he asked, drying his hair with the towel.
I nodded. "Yeah, just... I finished reading it," I said. "They left everything they owned in my name," I said.
"Wow, really??" he asked as I handed him the letter.
"Thank goodness out flight is at night," I said.
"Yeah, that's true," he said, looking g over it. "How about we get some sleep? I can tell after today, you could use some rest."
"Yeah, you're right," I said. I however did call the lawyer. He seemed relieved and happy to receive my call. We scheduled a meeting for tomorrow at 3:30 pm at the court house offices.
We got prepared for bed and soon crawled under the covers and fell asleep in each other's arms.
