*Chapter 119*

[Avie's POV]

The reception hall looked AMAZING!

Wedding portraits of me and Tony were at eh entrance of the hall, the biggest one that stood out of me and Tony looking at each other on the beach holding hands, me with bunny ears and Tony with a turtle shell backpack on his back, the California sunset in our background.

Cakes and decorations were everywhere.

This wedding was basically all about me and Tony.

"Here they are, Mr. and Mrs. Perry!!" Macy announced on a mic as we enterd the ball room.

Everyone cheered as we entered, friends and family greeting us as we took a seat.

Matt made a speech for us.

"Now, these guys are the most amazing couple, and I'm really happy for my best friend. She had gone through hell before she met Tony, and I hated seeing her suffer. Now, I know that if she's ever going to be sad, this guy's going to be there for her no matter what. I know right now, her family, bless their souls, will be proud of her for coming this far in life. To Tony and Avie Perry," he said, holding a champange glass up.

I smiled as I held back tears and hugged Matt.

After all the emotional speeches we all danced and played some games, like the regular garther game which had me blushing mad. Now, Adam wore the crown on his bald head.

I then went to greet people who congradulated and got to a table Beverly was in.

Corey, Jessie, baby Randy, and Jason sat there, along with a woman i never seen before.

"Hey," Corey said as I greeted the guys.

Beverly was on Jason's lap playing with a napkin cloth.

"Jason," i said, seeing he was in his wheelchair.

Corey wasn't lying. 

"You look beautiful, Avery," he smiled. "Your kid is pretty great, too."

"Thanks," I smiled.

"Oh, and this is my girlfriend, Haylee," he said, introducing me to the woman.

I greeted her as she congradulated me.

"Umm, is it okay if I can talk to you alone?" he asked.

"Umm, yeah," I said as Corey took Beverly in his arms and Jason and I went to the back, where a pool was decorated with floating floral candles and flower petals.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked as he put the breaks on his wheelchair.

"Well, I wanted to apologize to you in person," he said. "For kidnapping you."

"Oh," I said. "Jason, its alright, its in the past."

"No, I should have just backed down and stayed away from Mindy, bt she had me blackmailed since I was using heroin," he said. "But I'm clean now."

I stayed and listened.

"I refused to hurt you when I saw you being tortured in that basement, so I was forced to watch. Mindy went to far when she shot Randy. That's when I knew she was going crazy," he said. "I tried to turn her in and get you to the paramedics and cops when they found our location, but Mindy got my in the spine, and..... that's it. Since I was interrogated in the hospital, they let me off after I explained and Mindy confessed."

"I'm so sorry," I said sadly.

"But at least there's a chance I will be able to walk one day. I have maybe a year or two, I can work on getting my football career or work in web design to get me and Haylee going in life," he said.

"I wish you the best," I said, clutching his hands.

"Man, I feel like an asshole for ever hurting you in high school. Maybe I do deserve to have my ass parked in this chair," he said.

"Don't say that! You don't deserve this!" I said. 

He sighed. "You're a great person, Winters. Oh, my bad, I meant Perry," he said with a smile.

I smiled as Macy then walked in.

"Everything alright?" she asked.

"Yeah, just talking," I said.

"Well, come on. Cake time!" she said.

"Alright," I said, facing Jason

"Let's get cake," i said, helping to roll him back inside.

"Don't ruin your dress with the wheels," he said. "That's happeend with Haylee."

"I'll be okay," i said.
