[Jaime's POV]
"Yeah, I just talked with Macy. They'll be home in a bit," my girlfriend, Jessica, said.
Jessica was gonna spend the holidays with us, and already made it to the PTV band house with my parents and Vic and Mike's parents.
I soon finished the call and went to the front of the bus.
Tony is trying to get Avie something for Christmas. He still saved Avie's birthday present. We all basically did.
I hope Avie feels calm and not shy around Jessica. I doubt she will be though. Jessica Rose is a great girl with good character.
I walked out the bus, Mike already on the phone with who I believe is Macy, and Tony looking like he was trying to think of something. Vic was taking a shower.
"What's up, Turtle?" I asked.
"Just thinking what I can get for Avie this holiday," he said.
"Well, try something simple. I mean, you got her a great birthday present, so just think something simple for Christmas. You know she isn't someone who asks for something big," I said. "If I'm right, she likes the small things in life. I remember her telling me that once."
He nodded his head. "Good idea, Jaime. Thanks," he said, smiling.
"Anytime," I said.
"Almost here!" Chris shouted.
It was the last tour before we get home for the holidays.
[Matt's POV]
Before leaving Santa Clara, we stopped by the hospital for some test results for Avie's eyesight.
It'll take around 2-3 weeks until she can fully regain her sight again. So long as she is okay.
We were soon arriving to the band house, me sitting in the back of my car with Avie as Becky drove. She will be leaving back home after Christmas Eve for her family.
My mom will be arriving a day before.
Soon we arrived to find the house already decorated for the holidays.
It looked awesome.
We climb out of the car and then see Mike and Vic parents walking out, followed by who I believe is Jaime's girlfriend and his parents.
"Welcome, kids," Papa Fuentes said happily.
"Hey everyone," Becky said as we all greeted them. Becky and Macy were mostly welcomed, considering Macy is Vic's girlfriend and Becky and Mike are getting somewhere.
"Now, which one is Avie?" Mrs. Fuentes asked.
Avie meekly raised her hand. "Here."
The red in her eyes is fading, but she still needed the sunglasses.
"Oh, honey. Its an honor to finally meet you. We're Vic and Mike's parents," Mrs. Fuentes said.
"Its so nice to meet you guys," Avie said, holding her hand out, but not directly at them.
I moved her arm a little to the left so she was able to shake Papa Fuentes's hand.
"Wow, Vic was right. We hope you're recovering alright," he said.
"We can't imagine what you have gone through, Avie, and we're so sorry it happened," Mrs. Fuentes said.
"Its alright. Thank you for your concern, and also, thank you for taking me into your family. I font know where I would be if it wasn't for your sons," she said.
"We're just glad you are alright, mija. And you're welcome. Welcome to the Fuentes family. Now, lets all get settled in, shall we?" Papa Fuentes said, taking a suitcase and we all enter the house, me leading Avie and making sure she doesn't trip on the stairs.
Everyone was happy to meet her as they chatted. Avie seemed pretty happy, too.
I had a feeling she was going to be fine.
