[Avie's POV]

Its been three months since Tony and I became a couple.

We'll be leaving on tour soon so we're having a barbeque with some bands they know at the band house.

Right now, Mike and I were at the supermarket to get more food.

"I'll get some snacks, you can get the meat," i said to Mike.

'Sure thing," he said, and we went our seperate ways.

I got a few jars of dip, some bags of chips, and other stuff, also some sodas, since i don't want the guys drinking so much beer tonight.

Lately, i haven't really self harmed anymore. I have, however, still been having problems eating and occasional nightmares, but i had Tony by my side.

No, not because my fosters were heavey abusive drinkers. Just don't really like the fact of drinking alcohol. I just find alcohol to be disgusting and unhealthy.

"Avery Winters??" a familiar voice said, making me freeze in terror.

I turned around and there stood Randy Dylan.

"W-What are you doing??" i stuttered, stepping back.

"Visiting a cousin. I'm not going to hurt you, if that's what you're thinking. No need to be afraid," he said.

"Are you kidding me?? I have every right to be afraid!! You and your girlfriend and friends made my life pure hell!!" i snapped.

"I broke up with Mindy. She bullied a childhood friend of our's to suicide. Alice Jones, remember her??" he said.

Believe it or not, Randy was the only friend i had after i was adopteed by Diana and James. But then he met Mindy and it went downhill from there.

I stood there, shocked. I had Alice for 3 classes. We stopped talking to each other in the 7th grade shortly after Blake died.

"Mindy didn't regret what she did, so i broke up with her," he said. 'And... I also heard about your fosters and what they did. I'm really sorry."

I sighed. "So long as they are in jail. Heard from James??"

"Paralyzed leg. That's all i know," he said.

I smiled to myself on the inside. Take that, James.

"Look, i just want to say that I am really sorry for everything that I've put you through. I don't know what overcame me. We used to be good friends, and i treated you like shit," he said. "Maybe, say, we can be friends again?"

I gulped, but saw honesty in his eyes. But i don't know if i should forgive him or not.

"It might take a while for me to forgive you, but i suppose we can AT LEAST become acquaintances," i said.

He nodded. "Yeah, yeah, i understand. But thanks. Hey, are you busy this weekend??" he asked with a shrug.

"Um, yeah, actually. I'll be out with my boyfriend before he leaves on tour," i said.

"Boyfriend, huh? You go, Winters. Who's the lucky guy??" he said in his playful tone like before, making me actually smile just a bit.

A bit.

"Tony Perry," i said. "He's going on tour this Monday, so we'll be going out before then."

"Isn't he tattoed guy you were with??" he asked.

I almost forgot we ran into him and Mindy the day i was registered out of the school. Mike nearly beat the crap out of Randy.

"Yeah. Him and his band," i said.

"Oh, cool," he said.

"Hey, Avie!!" I found some steak and-"

I turned and saw Mike was walking up but then saw Randy near me and began to storm up.

"What the fuck is he doing here??" he said approaching, but I stopped him.

Randy backed up a bit, hands up in surrender, as i stopped Mike.

"Mike, wait, he isn't going to hurt me. He apologized to me," i said.

Mike stopped but just glared at Randy.

"RAAAAAANDYYYYY!!!!!!" a familiar voice squeaked from across the store.

"Oh shit, what the fuck?!" Randy muttered.

"Wait, i thought you said you broke up with Mindy," i said.

"I did. She's a crazy bitch. She even followed me here after the break up. If she sees you, you'll get hurt. Go now," he said.

"Come on," Mike said.

"Good luck," i told Randy before Mike ran into another aisle.

"He apologized??" he asked.

"Yes, but i'm not forgiving him so easily until i know he's actually being full honest about it," i said.

He nodded and we quickly went to the cashier's, payed for the foods, and left.

The drive home was kind of quiet, and soon we arrived. Some visitors had already arrived.

I put the groceries in the kitchen and then felt arms wrap around me, and i recognized the arms as Tony's.

"Hey, how was shopping??" he asked as we shared a peck on the lips.

I should tell him later. He deserves to know.

"Let's just say, it was crazy," i said.

He nodded and then told me to come meet some f the guests, Vic already starting the grill.
