*Chapter 52*

[Avie's POV]

Everything hurt, mostly in my eyes. All I could see was black. I can hear though, which I'm thankful I can.

All I can tell is when a light is on, it hurts my eyes. So I'll have to wear Macy's sunglasses for until the blindness goes away, hopefully.

"Miss Winters, can you tell us how your kidnappers did to affect your nutrition and health so seriously??" he asked.

I gulped, clutching to Matt and Becky's hand, Macy on the phone with Vic, as I explained how I was made to throw up, force fed, starved, and even forced to overdose on pills before they made me throw up a few again.

I explained what I could and hear the doctor talk something with Matt.

"Doctor, when can I leave?" I asked.

"Well, you've recovered alright with no problems, so you can leave tomorrow morning," i hear the doctor say.

I nod my head and hear him leave.

"Well, Vic couldn't find a flight for now, So he's coming tomorrow night," i heard Macy say.

"Damn. Well, at least they are still able to come," Becky said.

"They shouldn't. I don't want Tony to see me like this. I don't want him hurt, I can't bear him to see me like this," i said.

"Avie, he'll be okay. He's just gonna be a bit shocked, that's all," I hear Matt say.

I just wipe the tears I felt were falling. "I just... I can't believe this had happened. For fuck's sake, Randy got shot for me... Because of me..." I said.

"Okay, no. That was not your fault, Avery," I heard Becky say.

I just sighed and looked down at what's supposed to be my lap.

"I need some sleep," I mumbled, lying down and curling into a ball.

I felt a blanket pulled over my shoulders and soon dozed to sleep.

**the next morning**

Macy and Becky helped put on my clothes and brush my hair, then something placed on my eyes- must be sunglasses.

It wasn't long until I'm being lead out I think the room and felt warm air hit my cold face as I soon realized that we were outside.

I hated that I couldn't see anything. I needed a guide mw. I felt helpless and stupid. More than before.

I should have just died in that goddamn basement but now I'm still alive and blind with even weaker health than I needed.

It wasn't a long car ride and soon we were at the hotel, Macy helping mw to the hotel room.

"Here you go," Macy said as I felt her lead me to a bed and I sat down, pulling myself up.

"When's Tony coming back??" I asked.

"Tonight," Macy said as she placed a furry whining thing in my hand.

"Here, we were able to get Pebbles for you," Macy said.

I petted Pebbles as he whined at me.

I then felt an ear bud in my right ear and I was listening to 'Sleepwalking' by Bring Me the Horizon.

"Dont move from there. I'm gonna get lunch prepared. Okay?" she said.

"Okay," I said and hear her leave the room.

Just hope everything turns out okay once Tony gets here.

I didn't realize I was spaced out until I hear a knock, making me jump, Pebbles not with me anymore, but I hear his panting. That's when I realize it was pretty quiet.

"Who's there?" I asked nervously.

"Its me, Avie," I heard Tony's voice say.
