"We have a lot to plan out for the baby shower. There's still so much to buy and we have to send out invites. Babe help me out please."Leah said.
"Leah. We should wait to buy so much stuff until the baby shower. We don't know what people are going to buy for her." Jackson said.
"None of my friends are going to buy a crib or a changing table Jackson. We have to do that."Leah said
"I'll buy it honey." Claire said.
"Are you serious?" Leah said, beginning to cry.
"Yes. Of course. My mom bought your first crib, and I'm going to do the same for my first grandchild."
"Thank you momma. Thank you." Leah cried.
"Now let's work on baby shower prep. What's left to do?" Claire asked.
"Make and send out invites, get decorations, and register for gifts." Leah said.
"Well let's get on it!"

Pale pink balloons and gold streamers lined the long, narrow table.
"We're all set. Daniella and Casey are on their way to finish setting out food and drinks. Then everyone else should arrive soon after." Leah said.
"Wow. I just can't believe we're already here." Claire said, softly.
"30 weeks today. She's growing fast." Leah said, placing her hands on her now very large stomach.
The doorbell sounded and Jackson opened the door.
"Um Leah. You might want to come to the door for this one." Jacksons said.
Travis stood with arms crossed at the front door.
"Mom. What is he doing here?" Leah questioned.
"I don't know sweetie. I didn't invite him. He shouldn't be here." Claire said.
Leah swung open the door.
"Go home. You don't get to be here. You walked out on my life. How did you even know I was having a baby shower today?" Leah yelled.
"I found your registry. I just wanted to say good luck with her." Travis said.
"You can go now. You don't get to do fatherly things. You've never for one day of my life acted as my dad. Goodbye Travis." Leah said, slamming the door.
Tears streamed down Leah's face as she slunk down into the couch.
"Of all the days he chooses to show up, he chooses today." Leah said.
"Well, now today is all about you. You and Baby Girl. So let's have a baby shower." Claire said.
"Just me and baby girl. Let's have a baby shower."
