"Leah. Get down here. Now."
"I'm here. Calm down mom."
"Drop the attitude. Now. I want an explanation. How long have you been with him? You know I don't want you dating." Claire ranted.
"My relationship and sex life is really none of your business. It's my life mom. You can't stop me from dating forever." Retorted Leah.
"Your sex life? Leah you shouldn't even have a sex life at 17. I don't want you in the same position as me at your age. Now answer my question. How long have you been seeing Jackson Porter?" Claire said.
"A year. And I'm still not knocked up. So I guess I know how to work a condom and take birth control." Leah snarked back.
"I really don't need this attitude today Leah. Does his mom know you two are dating? Or is it just sex? Can't really tell these days."
"No, mom. Ann doesn't know. And you're not going to tell her." Yelled Leah.
"Oh you better damn well know I'm going to call her. Ann and I have been friends for some time now. She's going to find out about this. End of discussion. Go back to your room."

Leah's phone rang and Jacksons name appeared on the screen.
"Hi"
Your mom called my mom. I'm grounded for 3 months.
"Well I'm grounded for 6. My mom lectured me for a good solid hour about how I'm going to end up like her and I'm not being responsible."
Leah. What if something does happen though. Listen I love you Leah. And I want to stay with you for a long time. But maybe we should slow down a bit.
"You love me?"
Of course I do. I've loved you since we danced together at homecoming sophomore year.
"I love you too. I'm sorry I have to go before my mom hears. I'll call you later. Night babe."
