"If you look right there, you can see the head, and there's the hands-" The doctor pointed to the small screen.
"Is it a girl or a boy?" Leah asked.
"It's a girl!" Dr. Mandy replied.
"I told you it was a girl." Leah smirked at Jackson.
"Little miss Kayleigh Rae." He replied.
"You already have a name picked out?" Dr. Mandy asked.
"Yeah. We talked about it a couple weeks ago and the name just stuck with us." Leah replied.
"So you two aren't even talking about adoption? You're so young I just thought you would consider it a little more before picking a name." She said back.
"Adoption was never a consideration. My mom didn't put me up for adoption when she had me at 17, and I'm not putting my daughter up for adoption. End of discussion." Leah shouted.
"Leah. Jackson. I just think you need to consider all your options. I'm going to call your mother and talk to her. Just talk it over with her."
"You can call her all you want. We aren't changing our minds. I'll also be finding a new OB. Jackson let's go." Leah said, storming out the door.

"Leah. Dr. Mandy called. She didn't tell me much but to say I needed to have a serious talk with you and Jackson?" Claire questioned.
"She's trying to push us to put her up for adoption. It's not going to happen and our minds aren't going to change. Also I'm not going back to her." Leah said.
"Her? It's a girl?" Claire grinned.
Leah looked softly at Jackson. "Yes momma. It's a girl."
Claire leaned over and placed her hand on Leah's small belly.
"I'm so proud of your choice Leah. Don't let anyone let you change your mind about something you care about." Claire smiled.
"Thank you mom. I love you. Forever."
