"So you're going to talk to your parents tonight about us living in the guest house?"Leah asked.
"Yes, babe. I don't see why they'll see no. We will have a place of our own, with our beautiful baby girl and life will be good." Jackson leaned over to kiss the top of her head.
"What if they say no? Then what?" She worried.
"I don't foresee that happening, but if it does, we stay here in this house." He answered.
"As much as I love your family, we need to have our own place. Especially if we ever want to have another baby." Leah complained.
"I'll make you a deal. If my parents say no, I will start the search for an apartment tomorrow. Deal?" Jackson compromised.
"Yes. Deal." Leah agreed.
"There's one more thing I have to tell you." He said nervously.
"Oh no. What is it?" She sighed.
"We're having dinner with your mom and her new boyfriend tomorrow." He blurted out.
"How do you know about this and I don't?"Leah scowled.
"She asked me yesterday and I said yes. You haven't seen her since she told you she was seeing someone." Jackson huffed.
"I haven't gone over there since then because he's always there. He just reminds me so much of my dad and I don't want to get close to someone who could just drop us like it's nothing all over again." Leah cried.
"Okay, hon. We don't have to go over there. I'll tell her that something came up." He comforted.
"Thank you. I love you, baby." Leah whispered.
"I love you, too."

"Mom? We have to ask you guys something."Jackson said as he turned the corner.
"What is it dear? I'm trying to get dinner ready." Ann Called.
"I'm just gonna say it. We would like to, if it's alright with you, move into the guest house."He stated.
"Uh, well. That's a pretty big request, Jackson. I'll have to talk it over with dad and we will have to discuss an agreeable rent." Ann explained.
"Yeah sure. We can all talk about it together."Jackson replied.
"I'm going to finish cooking now. Set the table please."
Jackson walked over to the cabinet and pulled down the plates and silverware.
"Jackson get up here. Lacey is crying." Alexa called.
"I'll go get her." Leah replied.
Leah walked up the steps and into the bedroom.
"I asked for Jackson." Alexa huffed.
"Well you got me. I am her mom, Lex. I can take care of her." Leah said back.
"Why are you even here? This isn't your house, you know." Alexa fought.
"Im not arguing with you about this. Jackson is my husband, Lacey is my daughter, and you, like it or not, are my sister-in-law. I love you Alexa but we both have to work together here."Leah ranted.
"Dinner is ready. Come downstairs." Ann called.
Leah picked up Lacey and headed down the stairs.
"I'm willing to set all this aside if you are."Leah agreed.
"I think i can work with that too."
