Chapter 24

"Well, what is it?" Leah asked impatiently.
"It's negative!" Alexa squealed.
"Oh, thank goodness." Ann sighed. "What the hell were you thinking young lady? You are 14 years old."Ann yelled.
"I'm almost 15 mom." Alexa huffed.
"That doesn't change much, Alexa. This situation could very well happen again and it won't always turn out like this. Whatever you're doing with whoever you're doing it with, just stop." Ann said, walking off.
"Ok Alexa. Who is he?" Leah said, standing with hands on her hips.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Alexa laughed.
"You know damn well what I'm talking about. Who. Is. He." Leah said angrily.
"Mason Kuhler." Alexa said.
"Wait. Mason Kuhler as in Carson Kuhlers brother?" Leah asked.
"Um. Yeah?" Alexa said.
"If Mason is ANYTHING like his brother, get away from him. Don't do that again." Leah huffed.
"Why? What's the big deal?" Alexa asked.
"Carson is a dick. Just don't date Mason. You don't want to go there." Leah said.
"It's a little late for that one don't you think?"Alexa said, sarcastically.
"You can hang out with him. Whatever. That's cool, just for your sanity and mine, don't have sex with him again Lex." Leah begged.
"He wasn't the first guy to see me naked, he won't be the last. You can tell me whatever you want, but that's not going to change things. So why don't you stop worrying so much about my life, and more about your daughter and soon to be husband."Alexa argued.
"You know what? Fine, Alexa. Sleep with whoever you want to. But I can tell you right now, being a mom at 18 is already hard enough. And I'm sure you don't want to find out how hard it would be at 15. Just be smart Alexa."

"Well?" Jackson asked.
"It was negative, but I'm worried about her. She's definitely not the girl I know." Leah said.
"She's changed, but I can't really say much about it. When we were her age we just started dating." Jackson shrugged.
"Yes, but we didn't have sex at 14 Jackson. You want to know what she told me?" Leah said, raising her eyebrows.
"What Leah? What did she say?" Jackson snarked back.
"She said, and I quote, 'He wasn't the first guy to see me naked and he won't be the last.' She doesn't want anything to do with me now."
"I don't know what's gotten into her. Lucas will talk some sense into her." Jackson sighed.
"I just want to go home and snuggle my baby girl." Leah cried.
"Alright babe. We can go. Alexa will get over herself and we can have a happy wedding."Jackson kissed the top of Leah's head, and walked out the door.
