Later that night
"I still can't believe she's pregnant." Jackson huffed.
"Babe. You've said that nearly 20 times in the past hour. I promise she will be fine. We'll all be fine." Leah said.
"To tell you the truth though, I'm more nervous for her pregnancy than I was with you pregnant with Lacey." He replied.
"But we were also 17 when I found out. She's barely 15." She said back.
"Do you really think she'll get through this? You sure as hell know that Mason isn't going to step up." Jackson snarked back.
"I don't know, Jackson. It's really been a long day. I'm going to go feed Lacey and change her then i'm probably just going to bed. Please no more talk about Alexa tonight." Leah begged.
"Fine. Do you want some help with Lacey?"Jackson asked.
"Actually, I would love that." Leah smiled.
Jackson stepped out of bed and put on a robe.
"You do know my mom is out of town this week, right? You don't have to put on a robe." Leah said.
"Wait. Your mom's out of town and we've just been going to bed like boring old parents?"Jackson questioned.
"Well. Once I get Lacey all ready for bed, we can do something more than just go to bed like boring old parents." Leah said with a sly smirk.
"Really?" Jackson asked
Leah leaned over and kissed Jackson.
"Does that answer your question?" Leah smiled.
"Hell yeah." Jackson pulled Leah down and kissed her back.

Leah and Jackson woke up to a loud cry from the baby monitor.
"Leah. Get up and take care of your daughter."Claire shouted.
"Coming mom." Leah called back.
"I thought you said your mom was out of town?" Jackson huffed.
"She told me she was going to be." Leah sighed.
"Damn it. I'll go get Lacey, you go talk to your mom." Jackson said angrily.
"Well shit, Jackson. It's not my fault she decided to come home early." Leah replied.
"I'm sorry babe. I know it's not your fault, but you know if she heard us last night, and judging by her tone she did, you really need to talk to her." He said.
"Fine. I'll go talk to her." Leah moped out of bed.
"I'll come down once Lacey has been changed. Good luck." Jackson shrugged.
"Yeah. Thanks." She pulled on a robe and slowly made her way downstairs.
