A week later
"Mom? We're home." Jackson called.
"Hi guys. So. How was Florida?" Ann asked, walking in with Lacey.
"It was good. Very nice." Jackson replied.
"Hi baby girl. Mama missed you." Leah said, reaching out for Lacey.
"Wow. I just can't believe you're married." Ann said.
"I know, mom. Me either, but it's real. We're married and we have a daughter. This is our life now." Jackson said.
"Well, you better go over to Leah's house to see her mom. I'll go get all of Lacey's stuff gathered." Ann walked up the stairs.
"Whose house are we staying at tonight?" Leah asked.
"Yours. Lacey has been here all week and the nursery is at your house." Jackson answered.
"Alright. Well let's get going. I'm ready to see my mom and take a nap in my own bed." Leah said.

"Hi mom." Leah yelled up the steps.
"Leah? Wow. I wasn't expecting you home so soon in the day." Claire said.
"Gee, thanks mom." Leah replied, sarcastically.
"No, no. It's not that i'm not glad to see you two. I'm thrilled. It's just if i would've known you'd be back so soon i would've cleaned up the house and made up your room some." Claire said.
"It's fine, mom. Really. We're just glad to be back home and with our baby girl." Leah smiled.
"Alright sweetie. I'll let you get settled back in and i'll run to the grocery store to grab some food for dinner. What do you want?" Claire asked.
"Honestly, anything sounds good. It'll just be nice to have a home cooked meal." Leah replied.
"Ok hon. Welcome home." Claire said.
"Thanks."
