"What the hell is going on?" Claire scolded.
"We had a fight and he left. He said I could go over to his parents house, but I think he just needs a little space." Leah sighed.
"Go after him. Leah, he is your husband. You can work through this whatever it may be."Claire comforted.
"Alright. Can you help me get Lacey ready to go? I'm going to pack up a bag in case we sleep over there tonight." Leah asked.
"Yes sweetie. And whatever it is that you two are fighting about, you'll get through it." Claire said.
"Thanks mom. I'll let you know if I'm staying over there."
Leah walked upstairs to pack up a bag for her and Lacey.
"Hi baby girl. You ready to go to daddy's house?" Leah cooed.
Lacey smiled and blew raspberries with her tongue.
"Lets see. We need diapers and your pack and play, some changes of clothes and your baby tub, and now I need to pack up." Leah talked to herself.
"Leah, do you need some help?" Claire called.
"Yes please, mom. If you could pack all of Lacey's things in my trunk that would help a lot. I just need to grab some clothes for me and my basic toiletries." Leah stated.
"Okay dear. I'll be downstairs when you're ready to leave." Claire said.
Leah stuffed everything she could in her small travel tote and secured Lacey in her infant seat.
"Alright sweet girl. Let's roll."

Leah carried Lacey up to the door and rang the doorbell.
"Hey. Come in." Jackson stepped aside and motioned for her to step inside.
"Thanks. I'm so-" She said before being cut off.
"I'm sorry." He sulked.
"I'm sorry too." Leah agreed.
"I um. I packed some stuff if we want to stay here for a few days?" She asked.
"That's fine." He replied.
Alexa bounced down the steps and greeted Leah.
"Hey Leah. Hi Jackson." Alexa said cheerfully.
"Hey baby sis. How are you?" Jackson asked.
"Oh um. I had a routine doctors appointment today. Turns out i'm not even pregnant. False-Positive." She laughed.
"That's got to be a relief right?" Leah asked.
"For sure. Mason is talking to me again too so that's good." Alexa smiled.
"Oh gosh Lex. Just please for the love of all things, don't sleep with him again. Mom and dad, and frankly Leah as well, can't handle the whole 'I think I might be pregnant' scenario again." He huffed.
"I promise you I won't sleep with him right now, but you can't expect me to stay in a bubble forever. I mean, look at how often you and Leah had sex before Lacey came along and still now how often y'all do it. You cannot tell me there wasn't a few pregnancy scares along the way." Alexa snarled.
"Lacey was the one and only time Leah thought she was pregnant. And that time she actually was. She took 6 tests and went to the doctor before even telling her mom. We're also married now so we can have sex whenever we want. We're done talking about this topic. Leah and I are sleeping over here for a few days so come help us unpack her car and set up the crib please." Jackson said.
"Fine. But Lacey is not sleeping in my room this time." She scoffed.
"I never said she was. Just come help us and we'll take you out to dinner tonight. Our treat."Jackson compromised.
"Deal."
