"Leah. They're here. Wake up." Jackson said, tapping her shoulder.
"Hi guys." Leah said groggily.
"Hi sweetie. How are you doing?" Jacksons mom, Ann asked.
"I'm in some pain, but it's getting better. Lacey is getting checked up by the nurses. She'll be back in a few minutes." Leah pointed to the front of the room.
"Congrats honey." Ann said.
"Thank you." Leah said.
"Hey mom. Where's Lucas?" Jackson asked.
"He's at home. He didn't want to come up and I wasn't going to force him." Ann sighed.
"He's 25. He really needs to get over himself." Jackson added.
"I am over myself." Lucas said, pushing through the door.
"Lucas! You showed up!" Jackson said.
"You're my brother. And that's my niece. I may not be proud of your life choices, but I'll be there for them." Lucas said.
"Thanks Lucas. It means the world that you're here." Jackson said.
"Congratulations you guys. Enjoy her." Lucas replied.

The nurse rolled Lacey in the bassinet to Leah's bedside.
"Hi baby girl. I'm your mommy." Leah said, grinning from ear to ear.
"I can't believe we're parents. This is all just so crazy." Jackson sighed.
"Where did this onesie come from? I didn't pack this one." Leah asked.
"I remember you packing that one. Look at it again." Jackson said.
Leah loosened the blanket and looked down at the onesie.
"Will you marry my daddy?"
"For real?" Leah asked, shocked.
Jackson kneeled down and pulled out a small, diamond ring.
"Leah. I love you so much. I don't want to spend another day without you by my side. Will you marry me?"
"Yes. Yes of course I will." Leah said, leaning down to kiss Jackson.
"She said yes, Lacey! Your mommy said yes!" Jackson smiled. "I love you."
"I love you, too."
