"Welcome home, Lacey! This is our room. And there's the bed. That's where you came along!" Jackson laughed.
"Jackson!" Leah huffed.
"Sorry. Couldn't help it. Welcome home baby. I love you." Jackson leaned in and kissed Leah.
"I'm going to feed her, then I'm going to try to get some sleep without someone waking me up for vitals every hour." Leah said.
"Okay babe. I'll grab some blankets and get her crib situated." Jackson said.
"Could you grab my pillow? I need to feed Lacey." Leah asked.
Jackson reached over and handed Leah the pillow.
"Hi baby girl. Are you hungry?" Leah said, in a high pitch voice.
Lacey fussed.
"C'mon Lacey. It's time to eat some breakfast. You've got to be hungry sweetie." Leah begged.
"Leah. Relax. She'll eat if she's hungry." Jackson calmed.
"She's not nursing, Jackson. Just. Please get me a bottle."
"I'll be right back." Jackson said, frustrated.
Leah moved to the rocking chair and rocked Lacey.
"Hi sweet girl. Mommy really needs you to eat because she is very sleepy." Leah whispered.
"Leah. I'll feed her. Go lie down. You need some rest." Jackson said.
"She likes the pink swaddle blanket, but not too tight. She likes the small blue pacifiers because she'll spit out the green ones. She likes the pajamas with the feet in them. It's the only way she'll sleep." Leah explained.
"I know, baby. I will make sure my daughter is happy and comfy. I don't want you to worry." Jackson said
"Ok. Thank you." Leah said, walking to the bed.
"Just go to sleep honey. And I'll make sure Lacey does the same."

"Hey there sleepy head." Jackson said.
"Oh no. How long was I asleep?" Leah whined.
"Well, you fell asleep at 10 am, and it's now 4 pm. Don't worry. I fed Lacey on schedule."Jackson reassured.
"You're such a good dad. What did I do to deserve someone as good as you?" Leah smiled.
"Well, you danced with me at homecoming, then you let me ask you on a date, you had our beautiful, beautiful daughter, and you agreed to marry me. I love you Leah. We're a family. Forever." Jackson said, leaning in to kiss Leah.
"I want to get married soon. Nothing big. I don't want a poofy white dress, or a 5-tier cake. Something small. Just my mom and your family down at city hall." Leah said.
"Well then, it's a plan." Jackson agreed.
"It's a plan."
