I said goodbye to the guys, as they headed somewhere to practice some new song. Finally. But today wasn’t as bad as I thought, I supposed. Sure beat having to do homework. Oh crap. Still had to do homework.

I headed home, dreading having to tackle the menacing math homework. Halfway there I got a text from Maddie.

Hey what u do all day? hmwrk? ;)

no but hav 2 now :(
I texted back quickly.

ha. still can’t believe we met the HCS! They r so awesome n HAWT!

I rolled my eyes. I could imagine her squealing right now.

neways guess what? i heard they’re gonna be in town 4 a while

I frowned. Not good. So?

grl, that's big news n since we met them... we prob can do it again.

how?
I didn't like where this was going.

oh, c’mon, they like u I can tell & town's not that big...

I didn’t feel like telling her that they’re probably going to be in the city, which was way bigger than our town. Plus, I’d already saw them again... oh shit; now I felt guilty. Curse you, Mike. And Kevin. And Shane.

u want to celeb stalk them? o_0

oh c’mon Skye its not tht bad & they like u plus kev asked for my #!

so? that don’t give us the right to stalk

not stalk, just follow :)

Maddie, ur mad -_-

that's me! So we talk plans on monday? Good. so c ya!:D

I sighed. I needed to talk to Mike and them to see if it’s okay to tell Maddie. It wasn’t like she was my BFF so that I was breaking some code of honor, but I didn’t like keeping this secret from her. More like I couldn’t.

And I didn’t like the fact that she repeated 'they like you' twice.

I walked up the front steps of my house. Taking a deep breath, I opened the door.

"I'm home!" I yelled. Silently I counted to 3, and right on time, my dad yelled back.

"Did you have fun?"

No, 'where did you go?' or 'what did you do?' Everyday it’s just: 'Did you have fun?' I mean, yeah, at least he’d even bothered to ask. But that didn’t mean that he's listening to my answer.

"Yeah, it was fun." I grabbed a muffin off the kitchen counter.

"Good!" came his absent-minded answer.

I could have said I went to a strip bar with druggies from prison and learned how to shoot a machine gun, and he still would have replied the same.

I went to my room, and played a few songs to calm myself down. Music was my one safe haven.

Tell me, baby is it yes or no
You got a face that just don’t show
What's going on, inside
Tell me, I swear I'll take it on the chance,
Don’t sugar coat where I fit in
What's going on

Inside you there's a room, a room with a door
I finally come knocking but I've been here before
Oh, I got this love for you, but what is it for
If you can’t, hear me, then,
Tell me

Last chance, hold me in your arms and say
The one that's left to walk away
Tell me and I'll say goodbye

Inside you there's a room, a room with a door
I fin'lly come knocking but I've been here before
Oh I got this love for you, but what is it for
If you won’t hear me then

I'm making this easy, I'm counting to three,
Am I something you want, or someone you need
Baby,

Tell me that you want me, tell me that you love me
Tell me, baby won't you tell me

Tell me and I'll say goodbye
