Gabriel wakes up to an empty bed spread beside him. He slides out of bed and squints, trying to find his way through the dark dorm. "Sam?" Sam nearly jumps from his own skin. Recovering quickly, he turns to face his boyfriend. "You okay? You've been kind of jumpy this past week," Gabe puts a concerned hand on the teens arm. "Yeah–no I'm good. I just..couldn't sleep." Gabe wraps his arms around Sam, immediately feeling the warmth when Sam copies his actions. "Come back to bed."

"Okay," he agrees, shuffling into the dark and onto the mattress. He curls into Gabriels side, using his chest as a pillow. The older college student can't help but feel there's something wrong, maybe Sam doesn't want to be with him anymore. The thought makes his chest tighten and his breath hitch.

"Gabe?" Sam asks in a small voice. "Yeah?" He gulps. "Promise to never leave me?" His thoughts go back to square one, if it's not him, what's wrong? "I promise Sammich," he kisses Sam's forehead, listening to him fall asleep while searching for what could possibly be going on.

"You're up early," Gabriels voice is hoarse, making Sam stare at him in adoration. "I made you coffee." He eagerly reaches out for the mug, sipping the hot beverage. His eyes narrow then shoot up to Sam's, "You bought my butterfinger creamer!" He nods, "I did," sipping from his own cup.

He takes another drink, glancing at the clock, "Aren't you going to be late for class?"

"Yeah..what do you say we skip today? I'm already ahead and if you need me to, I can help you catch up. If you don't want to tha–" he rambles on but stops when those comforting lips are on his. Relief washes over him and he melts into Gabriels touch. "When do I ever say no to skipping?" He chuckles with his forehead pressed against Sam's.

"Can I drive?"

"I don't know, can you?"

"Gabe, I'm going to tackle you right here in the parking lot and take those keys from you." He takes the keys from his pocket, gripping them tight in his hand, "See I was going to give them to you..but I like your idea better."

Sam holds his hand out with an amused look, one hand propped up on his hip. Gabriel dangles them from his hand and into Sam's palm, but refuses to drop it, "I think you're forgetting something." He sighs and leans over, pecking him. With a satisfied smile, he releases the keys and gets in the passenger seat.

~

"Where are we going?"

"We'll be there in a few minutes."

"We've been driving for over an hour," Gabe groans, tipping his head back. Sam only laughs silently. "Why are you laughing?" He retorts quickly. "You're just so cute."

"I know," he smiles brightly, making Sam role his eyes in a playful way.

As promised, they pull into a parking lot after a couple minutes pass. "The aquarium? You brought me to an aquarium!?!" Gabriel practically jumps from his seat. "Yeah, I just remember you saying that you've never been to one and that you wanted to."

"You're the best, you know that?"

"I know," Sam smirks, copying him from earlier.

Beep.

Gabe goes to grab Sam's phone from the cup holder to hand it to him. "No!"
He freezes, sending Sam a confused look. "No phones, okay?"

"Yeah..okay," he takes his from his pocket and turns it all the way off, tossing it into the backseat, "No phones." Sam nods and does the same.

"Come on," he sticks his hand out, taking Gabes in his. Gabriel can't help the suspicion rising in him, Sam's been..different lately.

"Twenty-five dollars a person! Sam, just let me help pay," he protests. "Gabe, I've been saving up money from working at the garage. Just let me do this for once."

Frustratedly, he crosses his arms and let's Sam do all of the paying. "Don't be grumpy about it," Sam bumps shoulders with him once they get stamped and enter the first room. "Would you guys like pictures?"

"Yes," Gabe says immediately. "You know how I feel about pictures," Sam shakes his head. "I know I do," he's smirks. The Winchester plays along, doing all the dumb poses that they suggest.

They're handed a little pack with their number on it and are sent on.

~

"Samoose! Look at the jellyfish!"

"I looking, I'm looking," he laughs when Gabe pulls on his arm like an exited little kid. Buttons on the side allow you to change the light color, making the jellyfish appear different colors. Going through all six of them, the older boy stands there, mesmerized by them.

"I uh, I really like when they're the golden yellow color. Reminds me of your eyes."

Lucky for them, not many people are interested to be at an aquarium at noon on a Tuesday. In the dimmed lighting, to make the focus on the creatures, Gabe looks up at his boyfriend. "What?" Sam asks softly after being stared at for a minute. He blinks hard, "Y–You like my eyes?"

"No," Sam shakes his head, "I love them." Without a second of hesitation he stands to his tippy-toes, Sam's lips parting just in time for his passionate kiss. Little does Sam know that his older brothers used to make fun of his eyes, saying they were like that because he was a mistake. He believed this because he had never seen anyone else with eyes like his.

Gabriel almost whimpers at the loss of Sam's lips, longing for them to never leave his. "We have more to see."

They reach the area where you can touch some starfish and a few other things. "No. No way," Sam backs away. "They're not gonna bite..or will they," he smirks. "I'm not touching anything in there." The lady that supervises the area snickers at the two. "For me?" Gabriel sticks out his bottom lip, holding one of Sam's hand in both of his. "Nope. Nothing will change my mind."

~

"I hate you."

"You do not," Gabe beams, skipping back to the "petting" area.

With Gabes hand on his, they slowly reach into the little pool, running their fingers over the top of a starfish. A shiver runs through Sam and Gabe can't help but smile at him.

'Nothing' was overruled by the older man moping around with a sad expression, breaking Sam's heart and causing him to give in.

"Now we can go," he shrugs, satisfied.

"Did you have a good time?"

"I had a great time. And I figured out my favorite animal, jellyfish. After a moose of course," he glances at Sam from the corner of his eye, seeing a grin stretch across his face.

"Hi. Would you guys like to see your pictures?"

"Yeah," Sam says, surprising his boyfriend.

They end up buying two of each.
