Sam rubs his eyes and rereads the message, looking over his shoulder at the sleeping man behind him, a guilt washing over him. Soon anger takes over, his phone being squeezed tightly in his grip.

Brainstorming a plan to figure out who has been behind these messages–threats–a coffee mug in place of where the teens phone was, knuckles white.

"S–Sam?" Gabriels groggy voice calls from the hallway. "In here." He puts a convincing fake smile on, setting his cup down and pouring one for his boyfriend as he rounds into the kitchen.

"Morning," Sam greets, his body still tense but he raises an arm to allow Gabriel under it. "Morning," he grumbles, tucking himself cozily into the taller mans side and picking up his cup.

His face puckers in disgust and he's automatically glaring at Sam. "Would you like some creamer and sugar?" He laughs, removing his arm from around the older boy and opening the fridge.

"I'm cold," Gabe groans, wrapping his arms around himself, slouching further into the couch. "Come here," the Winchester offers, laying sideways to let Gabriel slide in front of him. "Why don't we turn off the ac, that way you won't be as cold," he suggest. "Then I'll be hot."

"Alright. Fine," Sam sighs, pulling a small blanket off the back of the sofa, covering both of them with it. He pulls Gabe closer, placing his head on top of the other mans.

"You're burning up!" He exclaims, sitting quickly. "I'm fine," Gabriel mumbles, "Lay back down."

"Are you sure?"

"Sammich, please," he asks softly, his eyes still closed. "Okay." Sam lays back down, his mind forgetting about the text message and clouding with worry. Gabe flips around, tucking himself into Sam's chest, the teens comforting arms soon around him.

Gabriels body shivers in Sam's embrace yet sweat beads up and drips from his forehead in his sleep. Being eleven in the morning, Sam's wide awake but not for a second does his mind think of moving away from his sick boyfriend. His thumb rubs the fabric of Gabes shirt, his eyes closing when he places his chin onto of the other mans head.

"S–Sam? Sam!" Gabriel manages between his pressed together teeth, eyes closed tightly in pain. "I'm here. I'm right here. What's going on?" He asks frantically, pulling away slightly to examine him. "It hurts. I–It really hurts," he cries, arms tightly clutches around his stomach. "Hey. Hey," Sam soothes, sitting up and letting Gabes head rest in his lap, the pads of his fingers running over the males damp face, "You gotta tell me what hurts, okay? What I can do."

"M–my stomach."

"Okay. Okay. I'll be right back." On the outside Sam looks calm, his features light, trying to keep Gabe at ease. On the inside, his thoughts shove over each other while scrambling for a solution to end the poor boys suffering.

He pushes everything around the medicine cabinet in the bathroom, knocking a few things down until finding some liquid stomach ache reliever. He then run to the kitchen for a glass of room temperature water and a medicine cup before finally returning to his man still curled up in pain.

About two hours pass and Sam finds himself on the verge of tears, hearing Gabriels quiet sobs. He covers his face with both hands, shaking his head, If he wasn't so stubborn I could take him to the ER. He peeks above his hands when it all of a sudden falls quiet. "Babe..are you okay?" He questions but doesn't wait for a response as he rounds out of the kitchen and into the bathroom.

Sams eyes widen and he drops to his knees next to a puking Gabriel. The teen moves Gabes golden brown hair from his wet forehead while placing the other hand on his side to hold the trembling male upright.

When the bile from his stomach runs out, he begins gagging, followed by a cough and him pushing Sam away. "That's it," Sam shakes his head, "I'm taking you to the hospital."

"N-no. Sam. S-Sam..please," he begs. "I don't know what else to do!" Sam says a bit louder than intended, he's just beyond frustrated that his boyfriend doesn't want help, but more scared for him. "Just.." his head droops, voice softening, "Please. I'm begging you, Gabe. I can't stand to see you like this. Please." Hesitantly, he nods. Sam breathes a sigh of relief, he helps the other boy up and substitutes as his support system for walking.

"We're sorry, we really are."

"You're telling me that you know nothing about whats going on with him?! You're doctors! Cant you give him something?!" Sam harshly whisper yells in the halls of the nearest hospital, towering over the doctor in front of him. "Sir, please calm down. We gave him some pain medication so he's okay right now. We're learning as much as we can about this, all we know is it's from a shot some kids got around the age one or two that's now coming back with side effects."

"Samsquatch?"

Despite wanting to yell at the doctor some more, he drops his pointed finger and opens the door behind him the rest of the way, his expression dropping to concern. "You're awake."

"I am. When are we getting out of here?"

"Well..tomorrow.." Sam says with an apologetic tone, twittling with his hands and rocking back on his heels. "No. No, no, no."

"Ga-"

"No! Sam," he glares, "You know I hate hospitals, they freak me out. I'm fine. We're leaving. Now," Gabriel states, swinging his legs out of bed, only to be stopped. "T-they don't know whats wrong with you. And I hate that they're keeping you, I do, but I can't take the chance." Gabe finds himself battling his gut and his boyfriend, he hates, absolutely hates, hospitals but he also doesn't want to give Sam a panic attack. "Gabe..?" he takes hold of the honey eyed mans hand.

"Sam I hate hospitals," his lip quivers, his eyes glistening over as he looks up without moving his head. Gabriel knows he has to stay which is why his fear takes over. Sam knows the story, as a boy Gabe had to watch his brother, Balthazar, slowly die in a hospital. "I know. I know," Sam wraps his arms tightly around Gabriel lightly swaying back and forth.

The two men lay in the small bed together, the older one asleep. Sam has one arm under Gabe, the other thrown over his waist as Gabriel is positioned with his face in the crook of Sams neck, hands tucked into his own chest.

Because of the stressful day, the Winchester feels himself doze, lip pressed against Gabes forehead. The door creeks open and Sam protectively grips his boyfriend before his eyes have a chance to shoot open and spot a nurse. She only smiles, placing her hand on the patients head to check for a fever. Even though the teen is fully aware that this is a place where they're safe, he cant help but intensely stare at the woman until her hands are off from his angel.

Finally Sam feels like he can allow himself a nap. The doctor said no one would bother them for a couple hours. He checks to make sure Gabe isn't awake and then pulls a blanket over them.

Ding.

Sam roles his eyes and digs into his pocket for the device without thinking about it.
