I didn't realize it had been so long since I updated. My bad. I'm a little behind in writing the chapters anyway, but here's this one 😬.

"Gabriel. Fucking. Novak," Charlie yells as she storms into his apartment. Normally, he would question how she was even here, she moved to New York, but he hardly glances at her. "You're going to tell me why you broke Sam's heart, and don't give me that Kali bullshit." She barely notices how miserable he is as well. The empty bottles, unshaved face, and red eyes eventually catch her attention when he picks up his head to reach for the vodka.

"Or," she says softly this time, taking the bottle from his hand, "You could tell me why you broke your own."

"I—I didn't want to, Chare. I miss him so much," Gabe tucks his head back down, the tears already dripping down his cheeks. "God–" he chokes, "You should have seen his face." Charlie sits down next to him, rubbing his arm to try and comfort him. "If you didn't want to, then why did you?"

His body tenses with anger, his breath shaky, "She made me do it. I–I had no choice, she's already hurt him once."

"Gabe, who?"

"Kali."

Sam on the other hand, he got to work. Yeah he was absolutely devastated, but he knows that something is wrong, there has to be. Gabriel would not have done that, not by choice at least. So, the Winchester started making a map, the ones they use when trying to capture criminals. He starts with the texts he received when him and Gabe first got together, anyone who had a grudge against one of them.

Three days later, Kevin actually forces Sam to lay down, he's had no sleep and hardly a thing to eat. The teen closes his eyes, the board nearly finished.

"Kali," he whispers to himself. "What?" Kevin cocks an eyebrow from his own bed. "It's Kali!"

"Sam," Kevin stands to his feet, hoping that Sam will listen and lay back down, "You're not thinking clearly an—"

"And I know who's helping her," he grins, completely cutting his roommate off and springing for his jacket. Kevin stops him again, catching the other males arm and shaking his head. "You're in no state to be wandering around. Lay down and I'll go with you tomorrow."

"Kev—"

"I'm serious."

And as if getting hit by a brick, Sam realizes how tired he is; he realizes that he would kill to just nap for a while. "Okay," he sort of nods back. His jacket is lazily taken back off just before he collapse on his bed. "Just for a minute," Sam whispers.

Just a minute.

//2 Days later//

"I swear to god if I miss Comic Con because of this," Charlie glares daggers at Gabriel who couldn't be any less amused. He holds up his arms, bound by ropes, as high as possible. "That isn't really a problem right now, is it?" He roles his eyes and slumps against the pole behind him. "Hey! I've put a lot of time and money into my costume and I'll be damned if that crazy bitch of an ex girlfriend of yours is going to be what stops me from wearing it!"

"Okay, Charlie!" Gabe yells back in a hushed voice, "But if you could use that anger toward getting us out of here and not ranting about Comic Con, that'd be great."

"I'm not the one who got us into this mess and I don't see you doing anything better. If I'm trapped down here because of you, I might as well spend my time down here annoying you."

Gabe tugs on the tight knot, huffing heavily. "Once again, can you please focus on figuring out a plan."

"Oh, sure. Sure. And when I find a way to get of of this," she waves her arms around as dramatic as possible, "I'm getting the first flight to New York and I'm leaving your ass down here!"

//One Day Earlier//

"Gabe," Charlie grabs him and gives a pleading look, "You're not really going to go storming down there, are you?"

"It's my only chance, Chare. This is the last thing I can do to get him back," he shakes his head and slips from his friends grip and to the door.

"Wait!" Charlie calls again. She throws herself onto the door, preventing Gabriel from leaving. "Tell me you at least have a plan." Gabe sighs but nods, "Kali stays at an old farm house about forty minutes from here on the weekends. Her grandparents owned it but they passed away a couple years ago, no one lives there now. She should be alone." He raises his eyebrows, expecting her to move out of his way now. "I'm coming with you."

"What? Charlie, no—"

"How are you going to stop me?" Charlie crosses her arms across her chest and he sighs again. "Fine, you can come, but, you're staying in the car." She tilts her head to one side and allows him out before whispering, "Yeah..we'll see."
