SHAWN MENDES IMAGINES
→ don't leave me ←

Shawn

I walk into the house quietly, kicking off my shoes and walk into the kitchen. I fix myself up a glass of water before going into the dark living room.

I saw a silhouette of y/n, my eyebrows furrowing and a soft sigh leaving my lips. Setting the glass on the coffee table, I pick her up gentle, being careful not to wake her.

I plant a kiss on her forehead as I walked into our bedroom. I laid her down on the bed and pulled the covers over her small frail body. Giving her a soft kiss on her temple, I grabbed a pair of fresh pajamas and slipped into those.

"Shawn?" I heard her whisper. I laid beside her, wrapping my arms around her body but only to be pushed away.

I felt a twinge of pain in my heart. "What's wrong, baby girl?"

She barked out a laugh. Not just any laugh. An angry laugh.

(A/n: ooooh shit he better run)

"What's wrong? You're asking me what's wrong? I'll tell you what's wrong. You've been coming home later almost every night for the past two fucking weeks! I miss you Shawn! You've been distant and I hate it!" She raised her voice.

I whimpered, watching as she packed a bag, stuffing some clothes into it. My heart raced. I quickly got out of bed, stopping her.

"W-what are you doing?" My voice was shaking as I was holding back tears.

"I'm leaving. I can't handle thinking about you always coming home late. I think that you don't care about me. Whenever I fall asleep at night, you aren't there beside me until late in the night. I miss you Shawn." She told me, looking me straight in the eyes.

Tears dripped from my eyes. "I'm so sorry I- I didn't mean to do that shit- please don't leave me. I'll change, I'll come home early to be with you but please. Don't leave me. I can fix this."

That's when I began sobbing uncontrollably. I sat on the bed with my head in my hands, sobbing for what seemed like hours and hours.

I felt the bed sip beside me and a hand rub my back up and down gently. It calmed me down a bit. My body was still trembling under her touch.

"Shawn. Please don't cry." She whispered. I sniffled, bringing my head up to see her face.

I could see a few tears drip down her cheeks. I wipe away the tear on her face, crashing my lips onto her light pink, soft ones.

She kissed back, the both of us hurting. It didn't matter anymore. Because we had only each other.

"Please, don't leave me." She looked at me, caressing my cheek with her small hand.

"I will never leave you." She said, kissing me once more.
