"Alice! Why won't you cuddle with me." Shawn whined, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling my body against his.

I gave in, wrapping my arm around his torso and laying my head on his chest. I always love to lay my head on his chest because I can hear his heart beat in a steady rhythm which always seemed to calm me down and feel content.

"I love hearing your heart beat." I whisper to Shawn, gazing up into his bright and beautiful hazel eyes.

He looked down at me, grabbing my his and pulling me on top of him so I was straddling his hips. I re-positioned myself so I was snuggled up in his neck.

I placed my hand against hist soft, warm cheek, rubbing my thumb back and forth knowing how much he loves when I do this. I felt his smile against my hand and he began to trace gentle circles with his index finger on the skin of my back.

I pressed my lips to his neck and began leaving kisses. I kissed up along his jawline, reaching his lips.

Our lips began to move in sync and he flipped us over so he was on top. I pulled away, biting my lip slightly.

"I wanna try something." I said and pushed him so he is lying beside me. I wanted to be the big spoon this time. He's always the big spoon when we cuddle because he thinks it's cute how I'm half his size and much smaller than he is. He also loves holding me since he says how protective he is of me.

"You're not gonna be the big spoon, princess." He says chuckling at my attempt to wrap my arms around his perfectly sculpted, muscular body.

I huffed, letting him wrap his large arms around my small frame and pull me to his chest.

Cuddling with Shawn is my favorite thing ever. Just being in his arms makes me feel safe and I just love being with him.

"I love you, Shawn." I whispered, closing my eyes.

"I love you more, baby girl."

"Are you sure about that?"

"Definitely. I've never been more sure about our love than I ever was with anything else."
