"Hi princess." Shawn said softly, sitting beside me on the bed. I mumbled a hey, not looking up from my homework. 

Shawn crawled onto the bed and sat behind me, placing his large, warm hands on my shoulder. Rubbing them softly, I relaxed at his touch.

"Everything alright?" He asked, continuing to rub my shoulders.

I sighed, running my fingers through my long wavy hair. "Yeah, just stressed."

His buried his face in the crook of my neck, planting gentle kisses. I closed my eyes and leaned up against his chest, relaxing in his arms.

"How about you forget about this homework and cuddle with me? That sound okay, love?" He hummed in my ear.

I shook my head. "I really have to get this done, Shawn."

He sighed before getting off the bed and grabbing all my books and placing them on the night stand. He took my pencil out of my hand as well.

I raised my eyebrow at him, crossing my arms. "That wasn't necessary."

He chuckled before crawling back into bed beside me, and pulling me down into his arms.

My head rests on his chest, his steady heart beat ringing through my ears. He used his index finger to trace circles on the bare skin of my hip, sending shivers to run down my spine.

We laid there in silence. Shawn began to hum a song we recently heard on the radio not too long ago. I relaxed in his arms, feeling every bit of stress fade away.

"I love you so much princess." Shawn whispered, pressing a kiss to the top of my forehead.

"I love you more."

"Impossible."
