"If you ever touch her like that again I'll fucking hurt you!" The voice of my boyfriend roared throughout the school hallway.

I furrowed my eyebrows, making my way over to the scene of people crowding around two other people.

There stood Shawn holding me ex boyfriend by the collar of his shirt, up against the school lockers.

"Shawn!"

He looked over his shoulder and his eyes softened when he saw me. He dropped my ex onto the ground and slowly made his way over to me.

Everyone began to walk away from the scene, leaving Shawn and I alone in the halls. An awkward silence rose between us but I could tell Shawn didn't care.

He had a cut on his lips and a bruise on his cheek. I rolled  my eyes. "Why did you fight him?"

Shawn clenched his jaw storming away. I thought I should probably leave him alone to let him cool off but I didn't. I was worried about him.

"Don't walk away from me." I scoffed, catching up to him. He kept walking, ignoring my multiple shouts telling him to stop.

"Please just talk to me!" I grabbed his wrist and he stopped, turning around to face me.

He stared down at me, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he was breathing angrily. His jaw was no longer clenched but the look in his eye was pretty scary.

They were clouded with an inky black color. I backed away, my back hitting the lockers as Shawn made his way towards me.

His large, muscular lean body towered over my small one. Both of his hands rested on the lockers on either side of my head.

"I couldn't let him touch you like that again." He mumbled quietly, placing his forehead against mine.

I sighed, wrapping my arms around his torso. "I don't like seeing you fight."

He knew how I felt about him doing actions like these. He knew everything I been through and promised to keep me safe. But he also knew not to fight physically.

"Let's ditch the rest of the day." He said, grabbing my hand in his. 

We walked out of school together, not caring about anything else in the world. "I love you, baby girl."
